Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The location is everything! You can walk everywhere and run quick back for a refresh during hot summers. 24h reception is super friendly and welcoming.

AustraliaBeware there is no people lift (only a luggage one) and my dumbass was on the 4th floor! The stairs are beautiful marble but kinda scary with no banister on the inside. But I'm nit-picking. For the price you can't beat the quality, convenience and welcoming atmosphere.
Literally 300m from a Monastiraki train station. About 950m from the Acropolis. Smack bang in the middle of soooooo many yummy food places and souvenir shops. The room was clean, quiet and air conditioned. TV, towel and the little sink and glass and shampoo and conditioner were perfect. The host was a lovely man (I didn't get his name), but he made sure to call me by my name when I came in and when I left. As a small, POC solo female traveller, I felt safe.

GermanyEven if the hotel is fully booked in these days, we would have loved the chance for a later check out than 11.30h. But this is probably not easy to organize.
The hotel is located in the middle of the town, but our room was completely quiet and we had a really good sleep. The people at the reception were absolutely friendly and we were even allowed to have a quick shower after we check out on a hot day. There is a kitchen with a fridge and a little terrace on the fifth floor to sit. We really enjoyed our stay.

Perfect location in the center of Athens. It is spotless from the floors to the bathroom. Amiable staff, at least the ones we met. Lots of amenities and very value for money in my opinion. I would visit again if I found it at the same price.

PolandThe hotel is excellent value for money! Location the best in the whole of Athens for this price, we got a room with a large balcony from which we could see the Acropolis. The room was clean and there was everything we needed. The shared bathrooms were not a problem, there was no problem with their availability and cleanliness. The check-in process went smoothly and without any problems, the people working at the reception were very nice.

The hotel is in a busy area but our room was completely quiet. I think I had asked for a quiet room when I booked and we certainly got that. There was no jug in our room but there is a shared kitchen with jug, coffee and sugar. The hotel is ideally located, with easy walking to the Acropolis and a nearby metro. The staff were friendly. We could leave luggage there after checkout.

The hotel is right in the center of Plaka ,only a few minutes walk from Acropolis hill and resturants and shops just outside the door ,the room was clean and the bed was comfortable so I was happy with it
