Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomIf you like a silent night's sleep maybe not the place for you. Several music venues/clubs close by.
The proximity of the metro station and heaps of great local restaurants close by, very much felt we were in the real Athens, but right by the main tourist attractions. Fabulous roof terrace with a large area to chill after a busy day. On our last evening walked out to see beautiful Athens lit up so all places within a twenty to thirty minute walk. The host was very helpful and checked us in efficiently despite our late hour of arrival. Great little Gyros bar right opposite for a late night snack and a chilled beer.

Location about 15 min walk into heart of Athens. A metro station (Keramikos) is a very short walk away. (2 minutes). It is on road that became busy on the Saturday night and there was some passing resident noise. Not enough to bother. Our apartment had no outside area as entry was on road, wish we had worked this out before booking.

NetherlandsI would say the room is not very soundproof since I can still hear sounds from outside at night. I am personally fine, but if you are sensitive to noise when sleeping, I would recommend to use earplugs.
The location is good, near the Kerameikos metro station. The building is easy to access. The furnitures are clean and well maintained. The kitchen and the bathroom are also neat. The owner is super friendly and kind, and always give you good advices!

There is everything you need and it was clean. The top is the position of the house, in a good area for restaurants and nights and very close to the Metro station. (In 10 minutes you are in all the most famous places). I have to thank the host that was very kind, supportive and flexible in everything during the holidays. The location Is Tiny for 3 people, perfect for 3 people.

Israelthere are a lot of clubs nearby and it can be noisy, but we were there on a weekday, so everything was quiet. there is a train station nearby (5 minutes walk), but unfortunately we were unable to find the entrance there and had to take a taxi. so if you are planning your stay here due to the proximity to the train, check the station location in advance

BulgariaIt's not something we didn't like, but more like a recommendation: it would have been nice to have salt, oil (or olive oil), and kitchen roll in the kitchenette.
The apartment was very nice, and the location was incredible! It was close to all the most important sights and to some "hidden" gems as well. The host was very friendly, kind, and helpful; he really wanted to make us feel at home! He even let us leave our luggage with him to walk some more after the check-out time. Overall, we are really satisfied with our stay at Technopolis Luxury Apartments!
