Absolutely loved everything about my stay here, wished I could have stayed longer. Katarina and Georgios could not have been kinder more attentive hosts, the best ever in all my travels. The room was gorgeous with wrap balcony with pool and sea view. Very comfortable bed and pillows and with the sweetest, thoughtful touches, a complimentary large cold bottle of water in the fridge and bottle of local wine awaits and little lavender pouches on the bed. They both collected and dropped me off to and from the port free of charge and gave lots of useful and helpful tips on what to do during my stay. The hotel is situated in a small bay with crystal clear shallow waters protected from the wind with local friendly bars and restaurants. The hotel arranged for loungers here to be free with just drinks and food to pay for. The breakfast was immense and also free, yoghurt, fruit, granola, pasties, cakes, breads, cheese, meats, preserves, tea, coffee, juice and eggs of any kind made to order. Loved my stay here, cannot recommend highly enough and wish my stay was longer to discover more of this beautiful island and the spectacular buildings of the main town at the port also. Katerina was so helpful she provided so much information about the island and ensured our stay was a brilliant experience. Transfers were provided to the town and to the port with no payment excepected. The location is a bit quite and a bit away from the town but the bus stop is close so the town is accessible. If you are looking for somewhere peaceful it would be a great place to stay with a number of options for food and drink. We were also given an upgrade due to availability so we had an amazing view of the sea from our balcony. Taxi was only €12-14 to town if needed.

Just a few minutes from the beach. This was an exceptionally good property. The staff could not have gone more out of their way to deliver the warmest welcome. Hospitality throughout was exceptional. The pool area and beds were great. The rooms were delightful. We'll equipped and clean. Food in the hotel was fantastic and prices really good , drink service during the day 1st rate. One of the best places I have ever stayed. Katherina was so charming and helpful throughout our stay

The staff are amazing, Katerina particularly went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had what we needed, she talked us through the island, sights, things we could do and other reccommendations as well as answered any questions we had. We could not thank her enough for making our stay so special. The location is fantastic, a beautiful beach just outside the door, beach front restaurants to choose from as well as the hotel providing a menu, convenient bus routes connecting to different parts of the island. Due to our ferry time being early in the morning, the bus would not have got us there on time, so the owner dropped us off at the port and made sure we arrived on time, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay perfect.

The welcome from the hosts katerina and spiros made me feel instantly welcome, they are fantastic hoteliers. Spiros offered a lift to the hotel and personally gave me a lift when I left. The room was lovely, nicely decorated, quiet and comfortable with a balcony with a great view of the bay. The pool area was very nice with well kept gardens with an outdoor area for having a good buffet breakfast. I would recommend Syros holidays to anyone.

The property is pretty basic, but given that you’re mostly outside it was totally fine. The pool area is lovely. It’s so convenient with buses, beach only a few steps away. But what makes it great is the staff and particularly the managers. They looked after us every little request with a smile and lots of generosity. I’d definitely go back again.

Very small improvements, I would suggest more fruits / healthy options for breakfast. A reduction in use of plastic (but this is an issue all over Greece and beyond) in terms of plastic straws and plastic complimentary toiletries and the pillows made my neck a bit sore. All very minor things.

As per the other reviews Katerina is a host like no other. She makes you feel like she is inviting you into her home. Nothing is too much trouble. The food is lovely and good value. Pretty little pool and perfect location, literally steps away from the bay with a lovely beach, water sports kilt paddleboarding and canoeing and several restaurants serving all kinds of delights. We will definitely return!

I don’t like shower without box, the bathroom gets all wet every time we shower. But maybe it’s something local.

I think the highlight is the manager Katerina! She is very nice, helpful and hard-worker, it seems she never sleeps lol! The location is great, is a few steps from Vari beach but the bus stop is very close and it takes you to all main beaches and hot spots. The breakfast was very good and Eva and the other guy are very helpful as well! The room is quite and clean and the bed and pillow are comfortable!

The property is in very good location Vari, next to the sea (one of the best beaches) ans has a lovely pool. Breakfast is nice and staff is extremely helpful and kind. Thank you, Katerina and all the team! They welcomed us very warmly and nicely. Helpful for everything! And surprised by upgrading our room to a sea view which was so amazing! And one bottle of local wine was also waiting for us in the room. The room was very comfortable, big, and clean. Open buffet breakfast with a daily variety of options was delicious. The beautiful Vari beach is just in front. The bus stop is also 1 min. walking distance. They made us feel at home. A very relaxed and chill atmosphere overall. The sandy organized beach with the crystal clear refreshing sea is still in our mind. The hotel is just 15 min away from the city center. Thank you again Katerina for making this holiday unforgettable!

The managers Spyros and Katherina are very helpfull and charming. Their reception was very warmly. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was OK, lunch and dinner excellent. The room was clean. Syros Holidays Hotel and the island of Syros is an excellent way of experience the greek way of life.

the rooms are clean but not the most modern (our bathroom was really small) but we didn’t care because we still had a wonderful time.

we had a wonderful stay. from our room we could see the stars. The hotel is basically on the beachfront and you can take the bus to reach the main town. the bus station is only a short 2 minute walk from the hotel. The hosts were extremely nice - they even picked us up from the port. we had a great time and will be back. The hotel is at the perfect spot to explore the whole island. You can have both a perfect beach experience and explore the wonderful city of ermoupoli

There was a slight lack of storage space for clothes in the room, but it did not spoil our stay in anyway. All the positives totally outweighed this minor detail.

The breakfast was excellent with a good variety of things to eat, plus freshly cooked omelette each morning. The location was also excellent being a 2 minute walk from the attractive beach and restaurants/bars. There two mini markets also very close by and a5 minute walk to the bus stop where you could catch a bus to the capital Ernaupoli or to other beaches on the island. A big bonus was being picked up and dropped off at the port on arrival and departure. We must mention Katarina whose hospitality was outstanding. She was so helpful with everything we needed to know.
