Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe rooms are small but the positives of this property far outweigh room size. Some members of front desk (not those mentioned above) gave us some incorrect information about our transportation to the airport which caused us a great amount of stress until Dina corrected the information the next morning. Thanks to her! There was construction next door that started 7:00 am and it sounded like the workers were in our room. We totally understand this is NOT the fault of the hotel. The workers were unnecessarily shouting at the top of their lungs. Aphrodite did speak with them about that and it did get better. Again an example of how wonderfully responsive they were.
The owner Aphrodite was phenomenal. Dona at the front desk and the breakfast staff were super helpful and genuinely friendly. Location was very good short walking distances to restaurants, shopping, cathedrals and plazas. Acropolis was a 20-25?minute walk. Very clean room, good showers, water pressure, AC. Very nice breakfast spread.

I liked the personal atmosphere. I felt that the owner and people that worked there cared about what they were doing. If I had an issue they did their best to resolve it. Yannis was so kind he even showed us around the neighborhood ! He made our trip extra special ! If we are in Athens again we would be happy to stay here !
