Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesWish they had breakfast options. Although, there was a bakery not to far from the hotel which had awesome food.
Mykonos Studios was great! The place had beautiful colors all around. I didn't think it was going to be so beautiful. Pictures did no justice. The pool clean and the water was perfect. The bartender at the pool was very nice and made wonderful drinks.

New ZealandBeautiful accommodation and the pool and bar area are a great place to relax! We got a ferry and the staff offer a pick up / drop off service of 10eur per person. The bus into town takes 20 minutes or so and the bus stop is nearby. Very nice being away from the hustle of the city centre and a taxi back is between 15/25 eur depending on the time of day/night.

New ZealandWe were aware of the location prior to visiting Mykonos but the other reviews are true, you really do need your own mode of transportation when staying here. We relied on the bus (€1.80 which came 20 minutes late) and taxis (€25 for a short ride to town or €35 to the beach). The bus stop Stamos is also a few hundred metres down the busy road where you need to walk and there is no sidewalk and cars toot at you as they drive past. Just book the ATV!!!
We adored our stay at Sun of Mykonos. We were kindly picked up from the ferry port for only €20 and taken to the hotel about 8-10 minutes drive out of town. The hotel looked exactly like the photos- the most picturesque exterior you’ll ever see! The hosts were very welcoming and we loved lounging at the pool area. The room was spacious and clean and the air con worked well. Thanks!

It's a great option to stay on an expensive island such as Mykonos. About 15 mins ride on the bus from the Old Port of Mykonos (the bust stop to go into the town is right next to the supermarket Flora which is 5-7 mins walk on foot along the main road). There are also couple of beaches around within 15 mins reach for which you also take a bus (the buses run every 30 mins to an hour). However, in the mornings the first bus doesn't come around until 10.30 or so so you may consider to rent a car as well. Going to the hotel from the old town, the last bus runs at midnight so it was great for going out and staying late in the town as there were no restaurants in walking vicinity to the hotel. Nice host ready available to answer any questions and help you. The pool was nice and there is also a bar next to eat with the drinks and snacks and some food. The premises were nice, clean. The room had A/C and comfy beds and a small kitchenette and was rather spacious. It had all you needed for a stay on this island.

CanadaFor such a lovely place, the washroom needed some upgrading. There was some moldy dirt on the door of the shower, which is also very small. Besides that, we really enjoyed our stay.
It's a beautiful place that feels like a little resort with the pool and bar. The colors, the threes, and flowers give it so much charm, especially at night time with the lights: it is so beautiful. The staff at the reception are very nice and helpful. Also, the bus stop and supermarket are 7 minutes walk from the hotel. For 1.80 €, you can go by bus to Mykonos town in less than 10 minutes.

AustraliaThe property is far from the old port/town. With the Mykonos bus’ being unreliable it can be difficult to travel with public transport/without taxi’s/hire car. We rented an ATV for 3 days for €130 which was great and I’d recommend.
Incredibly beautiful and photogenic accomodation. The building and facilities are extremely well maintained & cleaned. Staff were friendly and helpful. The pool & bar were incredible Can’t recommend enough

IrelandThe transport.Unless you have your own ,then it's tough getting on a bus.The buses are never on time and usually full, to the beach and to the town.We had to go to the beach twice by taxi in the end when the buses pass by.This is the only negative. The beaches are definitely worth the effort though!
It was a gorgeous place, beautiful pool and pool bar.The staff were lovely. The whole place was visually gorgeous.Loved it!Michael as was really helpful with booking taxi ,advice on the gorgeous beaches not just the main ones.He was excellent. The place was spotless.

United KingdomBus service. The owner did kindly give us a lift one day to the town, would be good if they put a once daily transfer to the town.
Beautiful place, only downside is the location, however not far from town/beaches etc but couldn’t walk as no pavements and all hills. Bus service not great, just drive past you or arrive an hour late.
