Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ArmeniaFew amazing things are: the staff and the location. And that’s it. Too much bed bugs were there. In short if you get a lot of bed bugs then how will you sleep ain’t it? I stayed there for 3 days, though I had booked 8 days non refundable booking, but I had deciddd to give up on the expenses. Later on I went to Thesaloniki because of the disturbance of the bed bugs. Staffs are not 5 star, because they deserve 300 stars out of 5. They were amazing,

AustraliaWe find bed bugs in our beds, the bathroom was shared and we find it not clean most of the time. The people in front of my room were having a party from 10 pm until 3-4 am, I asked the staff twice and they didn’t do anything about it. It isn’t worth staying there. Not recommended
The location is good.

AustraliaThe noise, it was so much noise in the corridors and from people on the toilet. Could not sleep well. Our room was quite small and no really window what makes claustrofóbico. But we did not want pay much money.
You get what you pay. It was one of the cheaper options. So it means the building was very old, small, not well ventilated. The Staff were helpful and it was close to everything.

GreeceThere was some bugs at the floor and at beds but not a big deal. and also we face some sheets burned by cigarete. overall the room number 602 had a wonderful view and a big private bathroom which is an asset.
The hotel is located at the center of Athens close to Monastiraki square which is an amazing location. More than that we can say that it is great value for money for travellers that want to pay less at the accomodation but stay in the heart of Athens. In addition the staff were great willing to help every single moment and having a Smile upon their face. Extra credits for Mrs Artemis at the reception who was a smiley person and a really helpful one.

United StatesWe checked beds for bed bugs and did not see any sign of them, however, two of the three of us woke up covered in bites with blood on sheets. Could hear other guests coughing and spitting in the bathroom sink, obviously this was not the hostel's fault. But, I contracted a virus while staying there which turned into bronchiolitis and pneumonia. Needed more air circulating but AC in room didn't work. I felt that the spread of disease could have been prevented if the bathrooms had been properly cleaned. I could tell they weren't since there was a big, dead roach on the floor that never moved for the first 4 days we stayed there. There was no latch on the door to the women's bathroom and on another floor it was a struggle to close the door to the toilet and the hangers in the shower were broken. A few small changes could make a big difference in the quality of the stay.
Location was walking distance to many sites and great restaurants. One of the front desk ladies was extremely friendly and helpful, the other one was not very friendly. Private room was spacious and clean upon arrival. Enjoyed having a balcony on our room, elevator for public use and 24 hour staff at desk. Nice to have wifi.

New ZealandUnfortunately the 1st room we were given had the dreaded bed bugs which we discovered at midnight on our 1st night. However reception quickly found us another room (that had our own facilities) and helped us move our bags the next morning after having that room and our gear sprayed etc. We had no more more bother from them after this. We had been given the option of a full refund and move to another hotel but at midnight that was in the too hard basket for us. Everything else at the hotel was great and I will return next summer.
I've stayed last summer and liked it enough to return. Close to metro stations, the plaka and other tourist sites. In a reasonably quiet street and cheap inder ground parking across the street

BelgiumIn all of the hostels that I stayed in before there were separate female and male facilities. This hostel only has one toilet and one shower for everyone on the floor (mixed dorms). Which means that the toiletseat was covered in pee most of the time..
The staff was very friendly. The check-in was quick. The staff helped us when we needed information. The beds were clean and very well located. I wouldn't say it's the most fancy area of Athens but easy to travel to when you take a bus from Thessaloniki to Athens, it's only a 20 minute walk from the busstop.

United KingdomThis is more like a hostel than a hotel. I did not like the shared bathroom with 2 girls with me as men were going into the ladies bathroom. Shower wasn't the greatest as head falls out of holder.
The rooms are basic, but clean with towels given. Staff are nice and only 10 minute walk to tourist attractions. Vending machine, lift and sitting area downstairs, all basic but there. Shop and ATM close by. Cheap though, so guess you get what you pay for.

HondurasThe hotel seems quite old and dark; maybe due to lack of maintenance. The private rooms were small and rather smelly. Furthermore, the neighborhood is not the most visually pleasant. If you are only going to sleep and don't mind walking a few blocks in a rough part of the city, go for it.
The hotel is very close to all the major archeological sites and, therefore is very easy to get around.
