Great hotel facilities, with car parking available for those who have a rental car. In a good location, just a short drive away from lovely beaches and Kos centre. Great breakfast options, and snack bar by the pool offer great meals. The hotel also provide a laundry service for a small fee, which is very handy for those staying longer.

The breakfast was a bit small in options and freshness, but it was still good to have it. Maybe adding more local flavor might make it better (we only had feta once).

The hotel was exactly as pictured here, the staff were super nice, the location - though a bit far from the beach - was exactly what we needed (great walks, nature, close to the best restaurants in the area). On top, we got a bigger room than we expected, with both pool and terrace access. Best choice we made for Kos!

The property was excellent. The food was delicious, the staff were very friendly, and the hotel grounds were beautiful – with a great pool, lots of greenery, and a relaxing atmosphere. You can probably find a few small flaws if you’re really looking for them, but if you focus on the positives and are determined to have a good time, you will definitely be satisfied with your stay! The sea was very pleasant and gentle, just a 10-minute walk from the hotel. Overall, highly recommended for a great vacation experience!

The room could have been cleaner. Breakfast was excellent, but the drink options were lacking: there was only cold milk and a single choice between coffee and juice. Given the quality of everything else, it's a shame there weren't more juice options and maybe a self-serve coffee machine.

The reception and room service staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms had everything we needed, and the hotel was recently renovated, so it's completely modern. There’s a nice shared pool, and the location is really convenient. Breakfast was diverse, and the food at the restaurant was very good.

- Different room to the one booked. We booked the standard double room with pool view yet we received a family room (with an extra room with a single bed which we did not need) with a view over the front of the hotel. - Lack of toiletries provided - only one soap next to the sink and one shampoo in the shower. No shower gel, lotion or conditioner. - Bike renting is 30-40€ per person per week. Not necessarily a negative but something to keep in mind!

The breakfast was very basic and I didn't like the fact that we had to ask the -nonetheless very polite- waitresses every time to bring us coffee, water or juice. Just have them there for us to self-serve! There's also a pool bar nearby playing dance music almost all day but it's quiet at night. I also didn't like that on Saturday at 11pm the bar was closed and we just had to go to our rooms and not continue our night with a drink by the pool. Overall nothing major as negative but not sure about the value for money. Especially with the hundreds of hotel options not just in Kos island but nearby the hotel as well where there are at least 10 hotels.

The room (216) was quite basic but had all the amenities. But it felt "tired" and needed some maintenance. Overall though it was decent and quiet. The hotel staff were all very polite and friendly and the pool area and bar were very good.

Firstly, I was extremely impressed with the staff and how lovely and accommodating they were throughout our entire stay! There was a relaxing atmosphere amongst staff which attributed to our positive experience. A particular shoutout to Emily on reception, who was very helpful and a joy to converse with! There were scenarios where we were let down by taxis and the bar staff were kind enough to take time out of their day to help us get to our destination; couldn’t be more thankful for this!! The drinks and food around the pool were delicious, (especially the Caesar salad!) and the relevant staff were very friendly and fun! As well as this, the rooms were always clean and the location was brilliant (15 mins from beach / beach bars, 25 min walk to old town). Couldn’t recommend it enough! We will definitely be returning ☺️

We had a wonderful stay at Smaragdi. The pool area is really nice, quiet and always plenty of space. The rooms are comfortable, and we had a lovely view of the pool. The breakfast was delicious, lots of options and it changed everyday. The hotel is really chilled, which was exactly what we wanted. The best part is the staff. They are all so helpful and friendly. We couldn’t get a taxi one evening and Emilia kindly helped us out and Antonis gave us a lift! Huge thanks to Antonis, Emilia, Stamatis, Silva and Alexandria and the rest of the staff for making our stay so memorable.

I loved the breakfast, was amazing, fresh product every morning, salty and sweet depending on your preferences. And the experience was even better thanks to Silva, the girl working there every morning at breakfast that was always smily and kind ❤️ The room was really new with everything you need with aircon directly view on the pool that was amazing! Also the pool really clean, big and the sun bed really comfortable ! The plus is that place for everyone at every hour of the day. The location is amazing, in a quiet area, just 5min by bike from the sea and 10min by bike from the center.

We moved here from a 5* all inclusive hotel and this hotel beat that hands down in terms of service, friendliness of staff and drinks. Great location, good breakfast, lovely clean hotel, nice size room and very comfy bed. The hotel staff were amazing, very friendly. The best margarita I tasted in Kos. I would definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed everything about our stay from the reception experience to the cleanliness of the rooms. The staff were easy to communicate with and made everything so easy to handle. One of the evenings we wanted to go for a drink in Kos town so didn't want to take our car so one of the staff organised for us to be driven in.

We had a great time at the hotel, the rooms are clean, the pool is fun, the breakfast is good, the location was close to the city and close to the supermarket, and most importantly - the attitude of the staff - all the staff were courteous, responded to our requests at any time, especially Amelia at the reception who was amazing and gave us great recommendations and answered us about any question Excellent hotel!!!

The apartment was modern and very clean. Great for a short stay before heading for the ferry. The staff were great and very attentive.

Only issue was you had to pay for the room with a credit card. Debit cards not accepted. Alternatively you could bank transfer the hotel.

Room had some minor marks and scratches on the floor making it look a bit dirty but wasn't. Some rooms are facing externally, not the pool view if you book last minute like us!

Right next to a great taverna and car hire place (island car hire) where you can return the car at the airport. The staff are amazing and go over and beyond to help, especially Emilia who used to work on the tourist board. Pool was always kept clean. Bar is open until late (I think around 12) and they make a brilliant home made lemonade. There is adequate parking, fridge and small freezer and the room.
