Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

JerseyI booked this for a relaxing few days off from backpacking and got the complete opposite. There was no wifi in the rooms. The breakfast buffet provided very minimal options and was in a completely different hotel (200m up the road). My toilet was leaking and there were stains on the bed sheets. There is no reception to check in/out at this hotel and no staff around, everything is run from the other one. The location is pretty far from any supermarket and is a bit of a walk to the bus stop.
Christina and her husband were so welcoming and friendly. They offered to pick me up from the bus stop and often gave me lifts to the bus stop (as it's roughly 30 minutes). This location is very close to the golden beach but I think this was the only positive for me.

NetherlandsThe arrival at night was allready a bad first impression: -no lights or signs make the hotel difficult to find in the dark -there is almost no staff, with only Cristina there to receive all new arrivals, we had to wait almost half an hour. When we went to the room there were 2 single beds instead of the booked double bed. The furniture was from last century. The TV was very old and broken. The fridge was dirty to the point that there is mold in the rubbers. The shower and sink were rusted, no curtain for the shower. Generally there is a bad smell in the room and there were many insects. The garden view was more the view on a construction site and the outside seating we had ro clean ourselves. The lights in the room flickered and the towels are not to hotel standards. For 110 euros per night you would expect better. The following day we visited the pool and there we found full garbage bins and rats next to the pool. Again no staff at the hotel, just a direction to go to a different hotel for the breakfast. After a very uncomfortable night with hard beds and many insects in the room we decided to save our holiday by leaving for another hotel. At this hotel there were no insects in the room just this clearly the issue of Silver Rocks. Changing the room for a double bed would not solve the other issues, see the attached pictures.

The location was good and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool was nice and well taken care of. There was a great view on the sea view side.

CanadaBreakfast was nill and air conditioning was not proper. Please get me a refund for atleast 1 wasted night in which we kept moving our stuff till 1130 pm.
When we reached there there was no one at silver rocks after struggling to find someone we were told to go to captains rock hotel which was 150 m from there. When we reached there we waited for almost 4 hours to be checked in. There was only 1 person at reception and lots of people were waiting to be checked in. When we got checked in we were told to go to silver rocks and that place didn’t have a pool or even breakfast for which we were told to come to captain rocks. In one of our rooms my guests found red ants then we immediately asked. The reception to move our rooms to captain rocks as we were not feeling safe because there was not proper pest control. Then they gave 1 out of 3 room in captains rock which was bit better than silver rocks then they gave second room around 11 pm same day. It was lot of hassle to move around the stuff. But still we had to spend night for 3rd room at silver rocks with almost no air conditioning. It was very tough night for us. Then second day they gave us all rooms at captainrocks. There was proper ac in rooms at silver rocks.

Exceptionally helpful host Christina, who picked us up from the port and brought us to the hotel (30min), told us a lot about Paros and just made an incredible effort. Thank you very much! We also received a small room upgrade and the breakfast was excellent! We had not paid much, budget expected, but ultimately received 5-star service. Have a successful summer season, Christina!
