We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Canadathe water in the shower was scalding hot. and the receptionist was not very understanding. they ask for a $50 damage deposit in cash, which I was not aware of when I booked. they also keep the deposit if you stow your bags after you checkout of your room. we removed our bags from our locker and needed a place to organize our stuff, but after we took our bags out of the locker and collected our deposit, we were told we had to leave the property. we ended up sorting our belongings in the parking lot. unbelievable!

New ZealandThe wifi can only be used in the public areas such as the pool. No wifi in the rooms (cell phone data was poor in rooms too).
All of the staff were friendly and welcoming. They made sure my room was close to my friends that were already staying there. The guy behind the bar is friendly as well as the couple that run the mini market. The pool was great and very clean. Location is a 5-10 min walk uphill to the town which was very doable with luggage.

Nicko on reception very helpful & good humoured. Went out of his way to find a shaded bed tent. Great locker system - able to charge phones & keep valuables safe. Pool great addition & restaurant lady Erana very accommodating & friendly. Excellent value yogurt& fruit salad for breakfast. Good music at bar but not too loud at night. Clean showers & toilets & never overcrowded in Sept.

Location is ideal for going into town and is right beside a bus stop or quad rental! Pool area is great with the shop and bar being accessible. It’s well organised and good amount of seating and loungers for guests.

CanadaBathrooms should have been cleaner. Bad smell when showering. One of two toilets in dorm was broken. Several staff were curt and a male staff member came into the female dorms while I was alone and in a towel, not very professional treatment from staff. Management wasn’t very helpful or sympathetic. Not a family vibe. But they did get me a taxi early morning, effectively. The mini market doesn’t have a lot of useful things, mostly chips and soda and cheap souvenirs. I felt uncomfortable being stared at by old gross men while swimming and tanning, right outside my dorm room. Lots of irritating tourists, but mostly quiet. The social atmosphere was weird too, people only talked around the overpriced cocktail bar.
Right down the hill , a few blocks from main Fira Town. Great Exercise walking there and back all day! Beautiful flower patio and pool, perfect for the baking sun in the middle of the island, no close beaches. But just down the road from the main public bus station, so beautiful beaches are less than an hour away. Very yummy gyros from the cafeteria, a kind Greek lady works the kitchen.

Nice hostel, dorms right next to the swimming pool and only a short walk from the hostel to the town centre.
