The location of the hotel was absolutely perfect, a 1 minute walk from Old Town but also quiet enough to be able to get some sleep at night without music blasting through! Pool and facilities were beautiful and the valet service really saved us from having to search for parking in crowded areas.

This convenience made exploring the area incredibly easy and enjoyable. **Breakfast:** Every morning started off perfectly with a delicious breakfast that featured a variety of local options. There were fresh fruits, an assortment of yogurts, and delightful pastries. Each dish was prepared with care, making breakfast a highlight of my stay. **Check-In Experience:** I encountered an issue with my booking, which was not the hotel's fault. However, the staff went above and beyond to help me correct it. They offered me a glass of cold water and a comfortable couch while sorting out the issue. Their hospitality made the check-in process smooth and stress-free. **Front Desk Staff:** The front desk team was exceptionally welcoming and friendly. They provided excellent recommendations for local restaurants and even helped book a trip to Loutro. Maria, in particular, was incredibly helpful and attentive, ensuring all my needs were met. **Bellmen:** The bellmen were just as friendly and welcoming. Every day when we returned, they greeted us warmly, assisted with our vehicle, and offered recommendations for the next day's activities. Their friendly demeanor made us feel right at home. **Evening Entertainment:** After a night out on the town, which is conveniently only a few minutes away, we enjoyed the soothing sounds of piano music in the hotel's lounge. This added a touch of elegance and relaxation to our evenings. **Overall:** My stay at this hotel was fantastic. The combination of excellent service, delicious breakfast, and the friendly atmosphere created by both the front desk and bellmen staff made for an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great stay.

Easy walking distance to Venetian harbour shops and restaurants. We stayed here as it’s adjacent to the bus station. Only a one night stay with a superb breakfast. Fantastic piano music when sitting by the pool in the evening.

Don’t think there was anything I didn’t like, I was quite satisfied.

Property was central, check-in was the fastest and smoothest I’ve ever had in all my hotel stays, hotel was lovely, pool was great, food delicious. Just everything really.

Our room overlooked a bus station which was a bit noisy but with the doors closed not an issue.

Stunning property where the staff truly go the extra mile! We needed to leave very early and they arranged a breakfast bag for us. The valet parking was also easy and our car was ready within 5 minutes. The evening ambience was stunning with a piano player and great drinks.

Our balcony glass had a shattered pane, which made me feel a little nervous about venturing on to it!

We liked everything about it! The vibe is understated, but a quality fit out with granite and wood. The staff were absolutely delightful and couldn’t have been more pleasant or helpful. The food was delicious and there were different choices every morning for breakfast. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the old town and harbour but easy to get the car and go on trips.

Perfect in every way. Rooms were clean and comfortable, serviced every day, including toiletries and bottles of water. Staff were very helpful and professional. Breakfast was wonderful... lots of choice and constantly replenished. Pool area small but lovely. We also used the gym. Hotel is located 2 minutes' walk to busy/central area, and less than 10 minutes to harbour. Would 100% recommend.

Amazing hotel - clean and new feel, spacious. Staff were amazing - they surprised us sparkling & cake for my husband’s birthday and when they found out I was pregnant they offered to make me special very cooked eggs for breakfast. We had lunch by the pool and it was one of our best meals. Great and easy to use valet service.

One note: if you're sensitive to noise, you might hear some buses from the nearby station early in the morning.

My stay at Samaria Hotel was wonderful. The staff was exceptionally friendly and kind. The breakfast was delicious, and the rooms were very clean. I especially loved the swimming pool area for relaxing. Even after checking out, we enjoyed the swimming pool and used the available showers, which was a nice touch.

Good amenities, excellent service, and well outfitted rooms located steps from old town. We stayed here our last night in Crete to catch our flight the following morning. We had to return our rental car at 10 AM and the hotel was very accommodating by allowing us with an early check in time. Nice large lobby, a medium sized pool tucked away nicely in the back, and a great buffet breakfast with a large selection. Our room was lovely!! Very luxe finishings, large bathroom, couch, and desk area. Would definitely stay here again. Pro tip: if you are a light sleeper request a room facing the inner courtyard.
