An incredible view, a spectacular room where every window was picture perfect and the warmest most genuine welcome from Sissi. We had such a fabulous time and loved our Mykonos retreat with amazing private pool. On our first day we realised we hadn’t packed any toys for the beach, and Sissi went the following day to buy our daughters stuff for the beach, a very special host.

It’s a bit secluded and requires taxi service to do anything, which means dealing with advance bookings, etc. (Mykonos is busy + takes a solid 20min for taxi to get to property/go anywhere). Not really a problem but dealing with the transport was not super relaxing (& quite pricey).

Very comfortable, quiet, spacious room. Pool was a little small but had a gorgeous view and the restaurant had delicious food & drinks. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.

No cheap restaurants or any around . Only one which was reasonably priced. 85 euros for Sushi at Solymar !

The hotel was absolutely amazing. Location was spectacular and what a view to wake up to. The owner / manager was extremely nice and went out of her way to accommodate us. She reviewed the island and things to do in detail with us upon arrival. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel.

Our room 'Notus' offered breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea and an outstanding breakfast every morning. The Salty Houses have a wonderful host, wonderful & engaging staff and an exceptional kitchen (from the mouthwatering food to the original cocktails)! We highly recommend you experience the Salty Houses for yourself, with or without family, if you are looking for very clean, stylish, full-service facilities located close to one of the best beaches on Mykonos (Kalo Livadi), and only a short drive from the old town. This hotel offers a peaceful retreat, with a home-away-from home feel, that will allow you to escape the stress of daily life.

There is really nothing I could say to make this place improve.

Everything was just perfect: the location, 20 minutes driving away from the cahotic downtown, 5 minutes waking from the beautiful beach of Kalo Livadi e 5’ driving from Kalafati, the only free equipped beach in the island. Also the staff is extremely kind and thoughtful. The food just amazing and the rooms super clean and spacious with breathtaking views on the gulf and terraces to relax.

NO SIGNAL ISSUE WITH SALTY HOUSE'S, Actually, but actually, the problem is i don't recommend booking through booking as in the beginning i was book through other hotel and i got call from the hotel for cancellation the booking with less than 48 hours while i alreday book one month back so imagine last minute hotel with high seasons prices!!! I spend more than 500 usd on their call centers all over the world and considering im a genius customer as well and at least every time of the call more than 30 min international call , among 10 calls one anothet and the other after you waiting 30 min they close the line 💔 😢, so imagine !!! So even while i tried to replace the hotel 🏨 with others, they said we don't have this option you should pay again while i alreday paid before full money for other hotel as the refund will be with 10 busniess days , imagain !!!! So i asked what the compensation from booking was, and they said nothing, even theirs recommendation was like down grading for other hotel for the room , breakfast and room view and location. So i make reached again until i find something suitable for me and my family, and i paid again the full amount, so it's like double hotels, so i i know they will let me pay again diffentaly i will not book through them again !!!!! The point is last-minute cancellation should be their responsibility as if im the one who cancelled diffentaly my money will not be refunded as well !!! So im not recommended booking for any booking , just check from them any hotels then go to hotels website or other sites and make reservations . I was lucky that i find salty house's in the last minutes with good price as well as i spend my vacation and back and the other hotel not yet refund my.money back with even no compensation from booking

The salty house's is fantastic and madam sisi she take care from everything she is working all day by her self and following everything, she is amazing also her daughter is fantastic too ❤️ we really recommend to stay in hotel as great sea view with nice pool as well and few steps from the beach, you will never regret, my recommendation to book directly through her . Through her salty house's Instagram or email as well . She can arrange anything you want you feel you are in your own place , addrional to that the rooms is great and clean with nice view , the area for the hotel is quite and relaxing

Everything was just “Amazing”

We were greeted by property Host “Sissy” who made our stay enjoyable. It was pleasant to meet nice people during our vacation, the entire staff was so accommodating. The views were just “expectacular” and the room was super clean with pleasant and refreshing ambient. The location was amazing, a quiet place to enjoy time with family and friends. The breakfast and lunch were just “amazing”, and the great and genuine service was the cherry on top of the ice cream.

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! We stayed in a lovely house with a private pool and unforgettable views! The food was beyond delicious, and the breakfast filled us up until dinnertime. The service and the staff were absolutely brilliant. We can't wait to do it all over again!

Seeing the building work going on across the bay, but again nothing the hotel could do. Couldn't fault the hotel themselves.

Breakfast was amazing, I can see it would be a good view and spot in peak season however we visited on the edge of low season so there was lots of building work going on near by which can't be helped by the hotel. Our suite was outstanding! The perfect privacy spot. Beautiful. Clean. The honeymoon suite is like having your own house rather than a hotel room. Would be great for a family too. Manager was lovely.

the mosquitos in the room were a bit of a nuisance. but we ran into this problem every where we were in Greece, so i think its more of just something that needs to be prepared for when in the country.

Everyone that worked for this resort was so so helpful. We had a couple high-need moments that werent normal accommodations expected of hotel staff and they stepped in with any hesitation. We are greatly appreciative of Ms Sissy and the rest of her staff

Beautiful room , clean and comfortable. Stunning view from our own private terrace. Got to enjoy the breakfast in the pool restaurant with view of the sea. Yummy Breakfast was served everyday in our table by a friendly staff. If we don't have any plans for the night, we got to enjoy their restaurant serving delicious food. All the staffs are very friendly especially the owner who went extra mile to take care of us.

Loved our stay at Salty Houses!Its run by a lovely family who take care to make sure you enjoy your stay! Beautiful view of the ocean , lovely pool area - my kids went almost every day! The breakfast was nice and their restaurant serves delicious food!! We had requested Sissy to arrange a birthday cake for our 5year old and she organized a very delicious mousse cake and ofcourse the birthday boy was thrilled! Thank you Salty Houses for the memorable stay and beautiful memories. We are glad we chose to stay here in Mykonos. A car is a must if you stay here. The beach is a 3 min walk away and its perfect for families and kids. The hotel provides beach towels and pool towels.

This place is a dream! We loved everything about it! First of all, the host lady is running this hotel in a way that everybody should. Everything is nice and clean and every employee is helpful and hard working. The house keeping lady made our appartment clean every morning and saluted us with a smile everytime. The boys at the restaurant/pool area were so nice, they always guessed our desires and helped us with everything. Their service was 10 out of 10, not to mention the kindness that they have shown to our 5 years old son. I don’t even have to tell you, that they became friends. All in all, we couldn’t find anything that we unliked, everything was perfect!

The only this is the property is out of the way from the buzzing old town so getting a cab to and fro came at a surcharge premium especially after 7pm. All bars around this place closes by 9pm so that was a downer.

Excellent service by staff and very nice owner Ms Sissy. Alex was fantastic. I left my jewellery behind accidently and they made sure to deliver it on time to the port before my departure. Great property with a view.. Great for a quite spa like retreat. The spa services were provided by external professionals who were exceptional and treatment was called wine and grape experience was fantastic. The cocktails and food were also amazing.
