We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

GermanyYes, the kitchen equipment is a little dated and could use some additional stuff, but Mixalis got me everything i needed, including a brand new water boiler. Yes, the water pressure in the shower is not amazing and there is even lesser hot water pressure, but it was enough to take a good shower. Yes, there was no shower curtain, but the shower and bathroom are so big that you don‘t have to worry about making everything wet. Wifi was very weak and did therefor not work properly. For me it was ok, i went to the harbour (where you find good free wifi) to do more data demanding tasks. I stayed in more luxurious apartments during my trip, but this one was my favorite because i reminded me of oldstyle Greek comfort.
I had a fantastic time at Saint Nicolas apartment. Mixalis, the owner, let me chose upon arrival if i wanted to stay up- or downstairs. I stayed upstairs in No. 2. The view from the big balcony is amazing. Also it is very quiet around and i slept with the doors and bathroom window open which made for a nice breeze flowing through the room at night. The bed is tipically Greek style with a hard matress (perfect!). The sheets were thick and good quality and felt very comfy. On the day of my departure i was going to take the ferry at 19:00 and asked Mixalis if i could leave my luggage with him. He said i could use the apartment until then and should just leave the key in the door upon departure. I guess this was possible, because it was not high season yet, but it made everything so easy for me so thank you, Mixali. Additionaly, i got some very good tips on restaurants from him.

United KingdomThere were no plates, bowls or cutlery and there was only a single tiny hob ring. We had to ask for the kitchenware. There was no kettle either. These things are to be expected in a self catering apt. The owner did however get us what we needed after we asked.
View from balcony was amazing. And the balcony was spacious. Location very good and close to the harbour! Cleaning and change of bed sheets, towels etc all good.

ItalyThe hotel is in a perfect position. You can reach by walk Just in two minutes from the harbour where arrive ferries and is just 15 minutes by scooter from Chora. Furthemore near the hotel you can find everything markets, restaurant, moto rent. The owner is very kind person and helped us with any assistence we needed during our hollyday.

New ZealandRead the previous reviews. We were met at the boat and taken to another hotel, which location-wise was right on the water. Initially, we were offered 1 room with 2 beds, but after discussion were offered a 2nd room as well. We also could have looked at the hotel we originally booked, but after a 6-hour ferry ride decided not to. We questioned this when the shower failed in the 2nd room. That said, the owner fixed it that day and it was great to wake up to watch the sailboats leave and be within 100 metres of the bus stop and port.

GermanyI do not understand the reviews of the guests. The prices are relatively low and the expectations are too high. the bad reviews are not justified. What did not work at all was the Wi-Fi.
We spent 4 nights in the accommodation. If you have no demands, the price is perfect. The furnishings are old, but the room would be clean. The absolute highlight was the terrace.

United KingdomNo-one to meet us despite the booking saying there is a reception - there isn't. Host didn't seem to know how long we were staying; couldn't offer us the sea-view room we had booked and tried to put us in a very poor downstairs room, with only a table, fridge and two beds (stained mattress) - no wardrobes, no drawers, no bedding, no towels. Sheets and towels promised within a hour but 4 hours later, nothing had appeared, so we left the property for somewhere more appropriate

I complained that the room was appalling and I would not stay there and was offered an upstairs room which was occupied by Greek people and was dark and unclean. he offered to clean it for me - absolutely appalling.

PolandOld, unrepaired interiors and equipment, but at least everything works. Tiring communication with the owner - he does not reply to text messages or Booking's messenger, you have to call, which is not easy, because his English is not the best (unless you know the Greek language). However, the worst thing that happened to me was that he accepted the reservation (via Booking.com), which I paid in advance, and when I wanted to check in, it turned out that this room was not available, because the previous guests stayed for 1 additional night, and he did not report this in the Booking application. When I asked why - "because he doesn't know how to do it". Failure, no words and zero professionalism. Nevertheless, I overstate my grade, because at least he found me some room (though no window and no amenities).
