Staff were functional but not exactly friendly. Room was pretty outdated and a few qualities that were missing from a place that's calling itself 5 star such as: AC was weak as anything, room was boiling hot at all hours with the AC on full and lowest it can be. It's a hot country, just provide water for guests, it's cheap and simple and highly appreciated, especially when €4 for a small bottle of water is extortionate (For anyone seeing this, it's €1 for 1.5l from the shops 10seconds away). The room is a really laughably outdated with that clunky brown panelling and heavy furniture, trying to look grand but it's looking shabby. TV is rubbish and clunky. Weird side table with radio built in like going back to the 70s (also didn't work)! Bathroom is lacking places to put OUR stuff, so much so that they have toiletries stacked on top of the bin so the bin is not accessible. The rooms really let the place down.

Fantastic location easily accessible by bus, metro or tram. Sight seeing and the main old town quite literally a stones throw away. Swimming pool was handy as it was hot and needed a cooling off. The roof terrace is stunning and the perfect way to see your day in with a great breakfast or an evening night cap. The ground floor lobby area is grand and majestic, but it stops there with it's good looks! Comfy beds too!

The greeting on arrival was very poor and the reception staff were very aloof and unfriendly. We did not feel welcome especially as we have stayed with you a few times before. We felt disappointed.

The breakfast wasn't brilliant. When we went to the buffet most of the food was gone so we had to wait. When it arrived the eggs were still raw and inedible. The coffee was very strong and bitter. We went for the weekend and wanted to sample the rooftop restaurant on Saturday evening but it was closed for a venue so all the residents had to leave the hotel if they wanted to eat.

Staff incompetent. Asked for early check in, never received a response. (2 months prior) Arrived at 6:30am from airport, to store luggage. Told to return just after noon for our room. To then be told the room will be ready at 3pm. Understand the standard check in is 3pm, but the staff should know this too. Providing us false information and inconvenience.

The reception staff are rude and unhelpful - with the exception of the concierge staff. The rooms need updating are incredibly hot and poor air conditioning considering per room is over 200 euros very poor value.

Room a bit torn and no charging socket next to the bed. The drainage system probably need to improve as its quite noisy when someone using bathroom or toilet upstairs. Its keep hearing `boom' sound especially at night time when people return or early morning.

Rooftop restaurant not being open for drinks and snacks. Unhelpful staff - I asked about using the pool, if they supplied towels specific to the pool area, I had already showered and did I need to again - they kinda sneered and didn't answer.

Excellent buffet choice for breakfast. Booked a triple room and had a separate single bedroom in the room ! Awesome views of the Acroplis and the Temple of Zeus from the rooftop breakfast room. Efficient front of house staff on check in.

The glass shower screen has an inch gap underneath it so the water leaks out and into the carpet straight under the entry door to the bathroom. There was a constant wet patch and discolouration on the carpet from water damage. The automatic blinds didn’t work ( we discovered this when we returned to the room at midnight but didnt make a fuss as we had to get up early anyway) only one power point worked in the room. No powerpoints apart from the shaver in the bathroom and old outdated hairdryer . No tea/ coffe facilities in room. The star rating for this hotel needs to be adjusted , we stayed in lower star places which were so much better. It was only for a night before leaving so glad it wasn’t for much longer. Staff at reception could be a little friendlier too.

The executive room was large with a good size bathroom. Great views from the rooftop bar and nice breakfast. Nice pool area.

The elevator was really small and slow.

Really good location! Short walk to Acroplis, Plaka ao. Style is maybe a little outdated, but the restaurant on the roofterrace is a must-visit! Our room had a bedroom with one bed and a doublebed in main room. Good size, nice and clean - and with a balcony. The hotel has a parking garage which was perfect for us and our rental car.
