Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

LatviaIt’s not that I didn’t like it, it is rather a suggestion to offer free water at dinner as well.
The location is fantastic as it give you easy options for travel to Rhodes town and Lindos as well as Symi island - you have public bus transport just outside the hotel and also speedboat service operating that departs just at the beach. Also, it was very clean, has very powerful AC so you can feel comfortable inside. The beach is fantastic- it has small pebbles so water shoes are recommended and it also gets deep fast so bear that in mind if you are not a swimmer. Sunbeds were comfortable - they have padding and a small pillow so it is really comfortable. The staff is nice and professional, no complaints whatsoever.

United KingdomThe hotel is in a bit of a remote location (not a problem for us as we knew this), so if you want to just go for a walk in the evening, there’s not anywhere to go, apart from getting the bus. While the full board food was nice, it’s a bit mean not to include any drinks at all, not even water with lunch or dinner. A cheap local beer or house wine would have been a nice touch as we’ve had included elsewhere. The coffee provided with breakfast was not good and tasted very bitter and weak. The buffet area gets very crowded during breakfast and dinner, as does the outside seating, meaning that if you don’t arrive at the opening time, you might have to wait unless you sit inside, although the whole dining process is very well managed. The parasols on the beach and at the pool are strangely small, meaning that it can be hard to get both sun loungers in the shade. The A/C in our room struggled to keep the temperature down, even at night. It was 35c during the day, but you’d expect it to work in these temperatures given where it is. Lots of messages in the hotel about guests reusing towels to save water, but out the sink tap in our room didn't close properly and kept dripping as per other reviews.
The hotel is in a good location, right on the beach, sandwiched between a number of other similar properties on the same main coast road. We were greeted on arrival with a with a very efficient and friendly check in process, which was very welcome after a day of travelling. (also top marks for the booking.com arranged airport transfer – worked very well). Every member of staff we met during our stay were helpful, and cared that our stay was a good as possible. The beach was very tidy and well arranged, with easy access to the sea for swimming – although you will need beach / swimming shoes as it’s quite stony. There’s also showers on the beach for washing off any sand etc. The pool area is also very nice, with a huge pool that never got busy during our stay (2 week of June) and two great bars that also served snack food. It’s just a shame that there’s not a swim-up bar. There were plenty of sunloungers when we stayed, and even if we got to the pool or beach at 11am, we always found spare ones. This hotel is spotlessly clean and tidy. Given the size of it and the number of rooms, the fact it is so clean and well maintained is amazing. We had the all-inclusive option, and the food was very good, although a little bit repetitive during the week. That said, even though we don’t eat meat, we always found some really tasty dishes. If you like desserts, then this might be heaven for you! We had a top floor room above the pool area, with a full sea view. There was very little noise from the road at the back of the hotel and the balcony was spacious. There is a bus service right outside the hotel that goes to both Rhodes and Faliraki, which is fast, easy to use and with A/C. A ticket to Rhodes one-way is about 2.5 euros – which compares very well with 22 euros for a taxi. The evening entertainment is also good, being varied and fun – especially the Greek folk music act that got everyone involved! We really enjoyed our stay here.

HungaryNo complaints whatsoever. Had to wait for beach towels one out of 5 mornings, minor nuisance in the otherwise exceptional overall experience.
Well-kept newer beachfront property. Spectacular seascapes right from the room, friendly attentive staff, selection of food and beverages, easy access to the beach and all amenities.

United KingdomThe “free“ taxi ride given to me as a benefit by Booking.com was a complete disaster. The plane was delayed and the taxi driver cancelled. No arrangement was made for another local taxi firm to collect me. I was told to get my own taxi and get a receipt. On arrival at the hotel, the taxi driver said he couldn’t give me one. I explained this to Booking.com who told me there was nothing they could do and they wouldn’t allow me the free taxi ride to be put back on my account, given that I never used it. I was a single woman at 2:30 am in an airport by myself, essentially left stranded. Not impressed!
Everything was fantastic. The staff were, without fail, really helpful, kind, chatty and engaging. There was a huge selection of food, all clearly freshly made. The spa treatments were amazing. The location of the hotel right on the beach couldn’t have been better. All in all, a wonderful day!

GermanyThe only downside for me was that the bathroom was a bit old-fashioned, with a rather small bathtub, which had a simple shower head, and the tap was a bit stiff and hard to operate. Not sure whether having a bathtub is a requirement for getting the five star rating. I personally prefer a walk-in shower with a top or ceiling-mounted raindrop shower head.
This is a five star hotel. Period. Everything is exceptional, first-class (e.g. room service twice per day). Availability of stuff is, as Rolls-Royce would put it, “sufficient”, i.e. you won't need more. You just can't. For example, the dinner (or breakfast). First time you go, you probably want to blindfold your kids. Or, even better, also yourself. The abundance or just EVERY délicatesse is incomprehensible. And it's all delicious and perfectly made and cooked. That doesn't mean guests need to be “perfect”. Come as you are. They just ask that you don't come in your swimwear or beach outfit into the restaurant or the bar, that's it for the dress code. You can really relax here, it is such a sweet hotel area, and the beach strip is also fantastic (blue flag, very easy to get in and out, no loud jet skis or motorboats). My white colored hotel room looked like a charm, just lovely, and the view from the balcony–fantastic! The beds, wonderful, I slept like a baby.

AustraliaNothing, all good.
The resort was everything you wanted in a relaxing holiday. The location next to it's private beach was excellent. Room was very spacious and clean. The food served at the various eateries was excellent, with good service, and a great assortment of foods for dinner and breakfast in the bistro. The Thalassa restaurant was excellent, food, service, location great, and one night we were there, they had a very talented musician on keyboards, low key (we were sitting closest to him and could still talk), fitting in with the ambience, he was great. The beach was brilliant, very small pebbles, didn't need shoes to walk in, and the water was warm, calm and crystal clear. Even though there's a lot of people staying at the resort, we always got a sun lounges (very comfortable). The pool looked great, but we preferred the beach, so we didn't end up using it. The whole experience for us after travelling around Europe for 4 weeks, was exactly what we needed to finish our trip, and the bonus was the resort was brilliant in everyway.

We practically didn’t leave the hotel so pure relaxation And stress free weekend — you can stroll by the beach and if you are up to an adventure walk on the other side of the gulf to experience a beach with sunbeds on the rocks ! Breakfast was “I didn’t know what to choose” —- too many options ! Fantastic sea view - the thalassa restaurant by the sea offers the best steak we have ever had — must try !

We had a fantastic experience here, right from the moment we arrived. The young lady at the reception was very friendly, and we felt welcomed straight away. She made our check-in and check-out process smooth. We were lucky enough to get an upgrade, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The resort facilities were great and all the staff looked after us.
