Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IrelandBreakfast was good and many options but some of the cooked food was cold. There were very few seats in lobby area and when I went to sit in the bar to wait for my son I was told I had to order a coffee - the bar was empty. I spent over €2000 staying in the hotel couldn't sit down without ordering a coffee - not great.
The view from the roof top bar was great.

United KingdomThey charge to residents 40 euros per sunbed set (2 sunbeds without even an umbrella) FOR 4 HOURS!! between 10am and 2pm! if you want to stay longer you pay another 40 euros! I have travelled in at least 20 countries and never before have I experienced this! Especially when the advertise a pool as a facility! it should be free for residents! similarly, they advertise parking facilities but it costs 17 euros a day. So overall, the facilities are there but you need to pay another 97 euros per day if you want sunbeds and parking.
the actual hotel is beautiful and the location was very good. Staff were lovely and helpful.

FinlandWe had an early morning flight and asked the hotel to pack our breakfast. When we opened it, it was only water, fruit, and biscuits, no sandwich or anything interesting or filling 😃 During the night, the noise from the street and cars also bothered us.
Cleanness and rooftop swimming pool. Stunning view.

AustraliaLocation isn’t great but the view makes up for it. Would it good to be able to leave the aircon running low when not in the room as it can get quite hot but otherwise, a nice hotel.
Good value for money, newly renovated and clean with good facilities and comfortable bed. Great view and rooftop pool / bar.

United KingdomRooms dated. Extra cost of sun loungers at pool. Never mentioned before we went. Only reason we booked this hotel. Was very disappointing as would not even let us sit on towel near pool. Felt unwelcome.
Breakfast was good. Near to metro stations.

AustraliaI think the hotel’s policy regarding charging clients to use the sun beds is totally unacceptable. I have stayed in many other hotels in Athens and I have never come across this charging fee policy. Clients pay sufficient rates for their rooms and it seems unreasonable to charge clients an additional fee. Management seriously needs to reconsider this exorbitant policy, and I would not be returning for this reason.
I liked the rooms and in particular the large beds

AustraliaHaving to walk through the top restaurant to go to the pool. The pool attendant was very abrupt and rude. To stay for 1/2 to hour we didn’t want to pay a lot of money to hv a lounge. We were told where we cld put our things. Then spoken to for all to hear that l wasn’t allowed to lay down beside the pool. There is a way to speak to guests. He needs to be taught. That put a total dampener on our stay
It was lovely for a couple of nights. Desk staff very helpful. Door man always lovely

GermanyThe breakfast was too crowded and the people who worked there were not really nice (during the buffet). Also: As the room was too crowded we had to go into another room and eat breakfast there which was a nightmare from a design and comfort point of view.
The rooftop is great and the view is stunning! The rooms are clean and the bed are comfortable - the best thing: The AC works without any problems which is great in a month like June.

CanadaRoom didn't get cold enough for our liking. Had to pay for lounges around the pool. Not many restaurants near or open close to hotel. Pool closed too early. Water went everywhere when you showered.

GreeceYou have to pay extra for every facility you want to use, like gym 8€ for not well equipment. 10€ for the sunbeds only for 4 hours .you have to pay for the parking 17€ per day and the stuff on some points was unpleasant .. you order cocktail in the pool area, and all comes to plastic cup even if you order a snack !

United KingdomRooftop pool is beautiful - although can get a little too crowded and not many sunbeds due to space constraints. Perfect for cooling down at the end of a hot day though.
Good breakfast. Lovely rooms and huge shower. Great location for some attractions (although we did use taxis due to heat). A great gyros place across the road, perfect for grabbing food on the go or quick bite to eat. Incredibly clean room.

MaltaWhilst paying to stay at the hotel one needed to pay for the deckchairs by the pool at a cost of 10€ per sun-bed. Then again, if renting the sun-beds they had no umbrella and were exposed to the sun all day. If a sun-bed is not rented there is the possibility to stay sitting down on tables.
Very clean. Pool was a good size especially for peak hours. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Very central. Everything was good and great value for money.
