United KingdomThere is a climb up some steps to the Hotel but this is an Island and IOS is hilly, its proximity to the centre outweighs having to walk anpy distance home
This place is spotless, new Towels and bedding everyday, room had quiet a/c comfy bed, and plenty of hot water from the shower, pool was warm and clean and the swim up bar manned from 10 am every day. Hotel is close to port area, but quiet, close to bars, bakery and restaurants, nearest beach 200 ,

IrelandOur stay at Hotel Poseidon was amazing! Perfect location extremely close to bus stops to Chora town, brilliant pool and bar and so clean! Marina really made our stay so special. She was so kind, fun and was available whenever we needed. It was a pleasure to get to know her and we will absolutely be returning soon. I would 100% recommend this place if travelling to Ios. Great location with exceptional view of port area, walking distance if arriving from boat. Cool bar, swimming pool and games room area. Exceptional staff with Marina and family going out of their way to make us feel welcome, meeting any requests and helping us with our stay.

Marina was an exceptional host and was constantly checking in on us and ensuring our stay was the best it could be. We felt at home in this lovely hotel. United KingdomParadise Found! I stayed for 5 nights at this hotel with my teenage daughter. The hosts (Marina and Spyros) were very helpful and thoughtful; made us feel very welcome. Our room was well maintained and very clean (with daily cleaning service), overlooking the marina, and the bay with beautiful views of the sunset from one side and the picturesque Ios Village (Chora) on the other. Nice communal veranda to chill out and take it all in! Nice swimming pool and decking area. Very close to the local supermarket, Yalos Beach, Ktel Bus stop, and local bakery, taverns, and cafes. Good Wifi.

The air con in the rooms was beautiful and we did not have any issues with it malfunctioning. We cannot recommend Hotel Poseidon enough.
