Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).

Great location, 20 mins on the tram (straight across road) into city centre. Beach front with amazing views and lovely restaurants to choose from. Rooftop pool and bar was a lovely treat. Rooms were spotless, great size and powerful shower. Friendly helpful staff

Excellent location, handy for Athens and on the main tram line. Opposite the beach, with great views of the city and sea and a nice pool area on the roof. Excellent breakfast and good facilities in the room. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

MaltaThe beach was the only negative note because it was dirty. The sand wasn’t clean and even the sea…. For the sea in a way I can understand that the waves bring the dirt in but the sand can and should be cleaned.
Food was excellent…. The breakfast amazing and food at the restaurant fantastic and the pool and the pool bar. We loved the bed too, super comfy bed and for the first time we found really good pillows to sleep on.

We found the room lovely and bed super comfortable. We loved the breakfast. It was abundant with every option imaginable. The service was always extremely friendly and many employees wentvover and above. We arrived hours earlier than check-in from a long flight and they welcomed us, gave us a place to change clothes and we were able to relax and recpver by the pretty rooftop pool until ourcroom was c available. They got us into the room two hours early. The hotel beach is just across the street and had great facilities at very reasonable prices from sunbeds with umbrellas to a very nice beach bar restaurant. The sunset there was gorgeous. Also sunset from our seaview balcony. Once we discovered how reasonable cabs into central Athens are, we felt we were in a perfect location.
