Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomEverything was amazing apart from the staff. I felt there were not happy and something was holding them back, maybe a management issue I guess. When good leadership / management is there you feel it in the employees, this wasn’t there unfortunately even though they tried to please the guests, but they were not happy

United StatesThe female bartender with brunette hair was unpleasant. She would complain when you ordered drinks from the menu. She would throw little tantrums and complain about doing her work to her coworkers. She was the same on both nights we visited the bar so I suspect it’s pretty standard. It makes the bar area feel unwelcoming.
We loved the stunning view from this resort. The clear water with the mountains in the background and sailboats is so calming. We had no problems getting a spot at the beach. We loved dinners at the Italian restaurant. The salads and all of our meals were incredible there! Service was also excellent at the Italian restaurant. The buffet was typical of resort buffets. The coffee is not so great. The room was clean and very big. The bathroom was great.

United KingdomI was moved from my room because of a flood on the first evening, the staff response was brilliant but I preferred the room I left, it had more character and wasnt facing the road. I was told it was an upgrade but apart from being a lot bigger I coudnt see how it was an upgrade.
The location, the food, the staff and facilities it was very comfortable and it wasnt very busy so I could always get a sunbed on the beach! I could have spent my whole time at the resort but unfortunately I had a wedding to go to!

United KingdomNothing apart from a rude lifeguard. It would be nice if yoga classes could be organised
Location and beach were amazing. Breakfast was great and very clean rooms . The yoga pavilions were a bonus and ability to kayak and sup in those tranquil waters and visit other beaches was a highlight. Very hospitable staff.

United KingdomHave just returned back from a wonderful week from Porto Galini Hotel. Let me start with the Pros… A fantastic hotel in a stunning location with its own private beach. Yes you do need a car as there are no restaurants or bars within walking distance. We hired a car from the airport and loved the 45min journey to the hotel which gives you a good idea of the area around it. Loads of free car parking spaces at the hotel. The hotel staff were all really helpful and friendly. From the warm welcome at reception, the lovely team of ladies that kept the hotel pristinely clean to the wonderful young lady (Georgina) that served us everyday on the beach with a smile on her face taking the time to chat and make everyone feel every welcome! Great facilities, lovely hi-end Italian restaurant for evening meal (a bit of a treat – amazing service and great food!) , great daytime beach bar/restaurant and a huge buffet breakfast that also does themed dinners in the evenings that looked amazing but not really our scene so, we ate out all but one night. Private beach with plenty of sun loungers even when the hotel was full. Just the same around the pools, lots of shady beds as well as full sun. Crystal clear waters and complimentary canoes and paddle boards. Splash out on a boat trip from the hotel’s private boats - well worth a tour round the islands for ½ a day Nidri town is a go to in the evening – 5-8mins in the car, super easy to find and parking within the town centre. Lots of lovely restaurants and bars on the “sea front” and lots of people watching to be had. The locals are super friendly and all staff in the restaurants couldn’t be more helpful and welcoming. The centre of the town is pedestrianised and runs along behind the “sea front”, with loads of fab bars and shops. Touristy but not like other Greek island towns that we have been to – a lot more chilled and much more “local”. No loud bars full of drunk idiots – wasn’t like that at all.

United StatesThe floor inside of shower is a little slippery. Be careful!
This was the best hotel we stayed during our 2 weeks traveling in Greece. Room, service, sea view, privet beach -everything was top notch. The best breakfast buffet we ever experienced- and we travel a lot. We stayed only for one day - and it was the biggest mistake of our trip. Even 3-4 days wouldn’t be enough.

RomaniaMaybe more entertaining activities for kids, after 18:00, can be considered as an option for the future. Also, coffee at breakfast was very good, but the placement of the machines is not ideal, making it easy to create waiting queues.
The staff makes the difference at Porto Galini, as usual. It was our fourth time here and we felt very welcome, cared for and respected. Very nice facilities inside the resort, diverse activities, good quality of food, nice kids club.

United KingdomThe fact I had to check out to continue my travels !! No bad points at all.
Wow, exceeded all expectation. Fabulous hotel, immaculately clean, beautifully designed to make most of the amazing views. Right on the beach, great pools and fantastic food. The rooms are well designed to make most of the sunrise over the sea - it really was so beautiful to look out of the window. Lovely complimentary toiletries too! We used all restaurants and all were amazing (different buffet every night) , the staff always very attentive and friendly. It’s sited on a hill so lots of steps but I saw staff rallying customers around in golf carts so I’d say it would never be a problem. This hotel, for all these reasons, has taken top pedestal on my list of favourite hotels ❤️

United KingdomA little bit of a drive to get to interesting villages/beaches, but that's the price you pay for a private beach away from the crowds. I would suggest having a car to make the most of the island. We were a big group (7 of us in total) - my only complaint would be that there were restrictions on combining tables at breakfast so we could all sit together. Perhaps it was a safety concern, but the ability to reserve combined tables in a corner of the restaurant would have been helpful.
Fantastic hotel, beautifully constructed with several good pools and access to a private beach. As a family with two young kids, we really enjoyed it. Breakfast was really good, huge variety to suit multiple tastes and preferences. Everything very clean, all staff very friendly.

United KingdomThe only improvement I would make would be the size of the shower - sounds silly but a little bit more space for someone of my height would be appreciated. But it is not really a major issue!
This is by far the most amazing hotel location I have experienced. The property is really private with amazing pools as well as a private beach that is really easily accessible. The hotel was spotless clean and that staff were wonderful to us. The buffet is not 'just a buffet', it is exceptional and delicious with different food/cuisine themes every night.
