it has nothing to do with the hotel, but one has to be aware that depending on the current the sea can be quite dirty and swimming from the hotel‘s seaside platform isn’t always pleasant

First off this hotel is very eclectic and playful. It is located a short five minute drive from the coast and very central to many things. Constantine is the receptionist/concierge and he was definitely one of the best things about our stay. He had a very personable vibe, and was kind enough to give us top most room which has its own private terrace. Breakfast is included and you can order as much as you want off the menu and everything is delicious. Recommend a car so you can drive to all the historic sites.

One of the most beautiful properties I’ve stayed in around the world. What an exceptionally special place and experience. The palazzo is elegant, timeless and sophisticated and the service and staff are wonderfully friendly and world class. The view is absolute perfection and our room and private terrace were divine! Can not wait to return and stay at Hotel Ploes again.

It's a little bit pricey for Syros, but it is a very high quality hotel.

Beautiful location overlooking the bay. Walking distance into town. Super helpful and friendly staff. Stylish room - very comfortable. Breakfast overlooking the sea was amazing. The pontoon for swimming is awesome. Incredible place.

The air conditioning didn't work very well and wasn't fixed properly when we mentioned it. There was also quite a lot of noise outside on the Friday and Saturday nights.

The hotel is really cool and the staff are incredible, especially the manager (Micheal?). The location is perfect and the terrace and ability to swim from directly off the hotel is amazing! The breakfast is also fantastic and super generous!

The aircon was a little fiddly, but the staff were very obliging to help fix it. It didn’t matter as the windows provided a great room temperature. The shower pressure wasn’t great, in comparison to the rest of the hotel experience.

The service was perfect. The staff intuitively knew what we wanted before we asked. The private beach was amazing and had it to ourselves the whole time. The art is so beautiful and the breakfast is delicious, with a outstanding view of the ocean! The restoration of the building and the room was tastefully done.

Perhaps, offer earlier breakfast time than 8am, which seems to be common throughout the islands. 7am would be great to have sufficient time to enjoy breakfast and allow flexibility and travel time for the fixed ferries timetable.

We had a wonderful breakfast on the hotel terrasse that has an amazing view! Staff is very welcoming and gave us great advice for best cocktail place on the island called “Theosis” and dinner reservations. Thank you.
