We booked the balcony suite and it was lovely sitting out there to enjoy the complimentary wine they included for us. What we also really liked was their gelato shop down below too!

There is no lobby per se so staff is not visible when you come and go (but their personal cell phones are listed on the door and you can call anytime). I was happy a staff member was waiting out front upon my arrival and flagged me down, otherwise I may have walked right past the building. The building is a bit dated but all the facilities work well and they have made the most of the space. I never found the roof top area.

The buffet style breakfast that offered made-to-order items such as French toast and Greek omelettes was as close to a 5-star hotel breakfast as you can get without table cloths and caviar. The staff could not have been more helpful and pleasant. They are fully invested in their guest’s comfort. The room included bathrobe, slippers, all toiletries, a complimentary bottle of wine, A/C, free bottled water, sleep mask and ear plugs. There is no better location: less than a 10 minute walk to Acropolis, Parliament, Hadrian’s Arch, Temple of Zeus, Olympic Stadium, Monastiriki square. Only a 3 min walk to Acropolis Metro station.

It was all good - value for your money

Our host was super friendly and helpful, organized our pickup and drop off - location was the best in the city, 5 min walk to the acropolis and all the main attractions. Room was clean and spacious. Good breakfast and his brother has a yummy ice cream shop under the accomodation. So easy to walk everywhere! Thank you 😊

The owner and staff were amazing. They thought of everything to make the stay comfortable and the trip to go smoothly. The breakfast was delicious.So many choices to choose from fruit, cereals, yogurt, fresh pastries and then made to order eggs any way you like them! The location is perfect, close proximity to all attractions. Clean and comfortable. A complimentary bottle of wine with glasses was a nice treat. I would recommend this hotel!

The coffee at breakfast was mediocre, often almost cold. The mattress was a bit soft for me. For some people, the noise on the street could be a problem. I can sleep through almost anything.

The best part of Plaka Arch Suites is Thanos, our host, who was a real star. He made everything so easy and gave us a stellar service. I would give him a 9.8/10. The hotel location is also 9.8, right in the Pkaka. I would give the hotel itself an 8.7 just because our door would get stuck sometimes, it could get a bit noisy in the Plaka and the mattress was a bit too soft for my taste. But you also get free nespresso oods in the room and a genrous amount of toiletries. The breakfast gets an 8, it is good with fresh fruit and eggs and some good pastries and cheese and bacon.

I do wish the hot tub was actually hot. It’s more of a ‘warm…ish tub’.

Incredible views, lovely staff, comfortable bed, amazing shower - it was all fantastic! We had a great time in Athens, in no small part because we were staying in such a lovely place - that is close to EVERYTHING. We had a private rooftop deck that was really spectacular. It was a pretty perfect stay!

Couldnt find any fault

Location in lovely area of Plaka. Buses,trams within walking distance of 5mins. As were the numerous restaurants,shops and monuments, archealogical findings. Thoroughly enjoyed the area and all walking distance . Staff were so helpful and friendly. Room was well maintained, comfortable with tea/coffee,mini bar and a kettle. Bonus for me. Lovely shower with rain head.

Room was a little unusual in that the balcony was over an interior closed courtyard and on the first floor (where breakfast was served) this was no problem and we weren’t disturbed but was expecting a balcony with access to the outside and probably would have used it more if this was the case.

Wonderful apartment in the very centre of the old city. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the breakfast is exceptional (definitely have the Omelette). Little balcony is lovely in the evening and the room is spacious and clean.

Our room faced intersecting streets so was a bit noisy on night #2- ask to face into the courtyard at the back.

Large clean room, breakfast was wonderful (made to order) and location was perfect in relation to Plaka. Our host was on site to greet us and wifi was great.

Perfect hotel in a wonderful picturesquare location! The owner is amazing, helped with everything whatever I asked. Views from the jacuzzi are breathtaking both day and night. The breakfast is fast and very tasty, you have an option to choose your breakfast from a la carte. Some said that the price might be on more expensive side although it is totally worth it, you get what you pay for and so you can see from these pictures. Only the best words for the hotel and for the owner! The hospitality, the location, the vibes, all 5 stars!

Didn't sleep very well. Could be very noisy in the room, could hear the conversation of another guest on her phone until @ 1.30am😣 Traffic noise due to single glazing (? Due to age of building) as our room sat on a corner of a busy junction and there was a parking area for scooters underneath our balcony - was glad earplugs were provided but weren't very effective

Location excellent, literally at the bottom of the acropolis. Very handy for Acropolis, Acropolis museum, Agora, Hadrians Arch, etc. Bus stop at the end of the road for hop on hop off bus. Staff very friendly & helpful - had an issue with billing which they very effectively sorted for us. Plenty bars, shops &restaurants within a 1 min walk Staff at check-in recommended Saita family restaurant on arrival which we ended using twice in 3 days -very reasonable price for delicious home cooked food & wine......... great to be able to sit outside and eat at 10pm at the end of February! Earplugs, eyemasks, toiletries incl shaving kit &toothbrushes were provided Continental selection at breakfast was just okay but the bacon & eggs & definitely the French toast - yummy!
