We only wished we could have stayed longer!!

No breakfast as this is considered an apartment hotel. But the location was superb, near the old Venetian port with many restaurants, shops and coffee houses.

We actually wanted to extend our stay after seeing how great it was but were unfortunately not given a good deal, even though we were prepared to change the room and the vacant room was actually already paid for, since someone else left early. Not a big deal, just a shame.

We loved everything. The location was great. The design, cleanliness and everything else was just perfect. The windows are double making sure, there is no street noise coming in. The bed was very comfortable. The design of the bathroom was just gorgeous. The room had every appliance you could want and equipped kitchen. The outside was very nice, with the pool. Would def stay longer and will def come back.

Fantastic location in the lovely old town. Short walk to everything including cafes, bakeries, supermarket, restaurants, bus stop, beach! Beautiful, comfortable, spotless suite with good Wi-Fi. The host was so helpful,kind, pleasant and friendly. Thank you for everything! Would highly recommend for a lovely stay.

I am unable to think of any negatives whatsoever. Note that there is no lift but that's not a problem really!

Lovely welcome from Agapi (whose name means Love, and she was lovely!). She was very helpful, as we had to unload luggage from the car in the narrow one-way street, holding up the traffic. Find a large free car park near to the stadium, and a seven minute walk back. Lovely interior, everything beautifully presented, cool, clean, with cold water and coffee facilities in the public area. Apartment was overlooking the patio and small pool, up against the original old walls of the town. We had a good sized balcony, great sized living area, great sized sleeping are (up stairs to a large mezzanine). Plenty of wardrobes, comfy chairs, decent sized kitchen area with all the necessary facilities - and a nice chilled bottle of wine on arrival. The outside area was well kept and very clean, with lots of big square sun shades, a few recliners, and chairs and tables. We were a little concerned about traffic noise - the road alongside did get a bit busy during the day, but we were out at that time so no problem, and there was no noise at all in the patio/pool area. The road was very quiet at night - we didn't hear it at all, so no worries on that front. Very easy access into the old town, and good advice on where to buy decent bread & pastries (yes, we had takeaway spanakopita from them every day - delicious. Look for Niktaris Bakery Ο Φούρνος του Νύκταρη, just opposite the old arched Guora gate Μεγάλη Πόρτα). On our departure, we also did the reverse from arrival, loading luggage into the car whilst holding up the traffic for two minutes, but again, drivers understand the issue and were very accommodating. Overall, very good indeed, very relaxing, and we will definitely go there again.

Beautiful and quiet place in the heart of Rethymno, charming and relaxing. The room was gorgeous, the lady incredibly attentive. There is a little swimming pool in a lovely indoor terrace. Very recommended, specially for couples avoiding busy and noisy rooms.

This hotel is a real gem and it really exceeded our expectations. Our room was spacious and extremely clean and the lovely balcony facing the garden and pool was a real plus. The garden is lovely and peaceful, with no noise coming from the main road. We also spent an entire afternoon in the pool which, although small, it is a very relaxing option for the hottest days. The owner of the hotel is very friendly, careful and helpful. We highly recommend this hotel!

Phaedra Suites is situated at the heart of the old City of Rethymno. The place is extremly beautiful, clean ,queit, supermarket is just some meters away, Restaurants ,Bus Stations, etc. The place is wonderful mentained , the pool is cleaned almost everyday. The Madam owner is the best Person ever, she explains everything and gives tipps where to find good food and cheaper. She's doing an extremly good job for the clients. The clean drinking water is available for free so you don't have to buy water!! The rooms are cleaned everyday. The cleaningness in the apartments is on the topest level. You feel home and very comfortable, the Icon in the rooms are wonderful, and cools the rooms well. I miss to come back and l promise to come back again it was an amazing time at phaedra suites. I recomend anyone looking for a good holiday home at Rethymno Phaedra suites is the best place to be!!

Phaedra Suites is an exceptional property. It is right at the heart of the Old Town of Rethymno, very close to shops, restaurants and landmarks such as the Venetian Fortezza, the Old Venetian Harbour and others. Our suite was very elegant with traditional touches and had all the necessary amenities. The hostess is very welcoming, friendly and hospitable. She gave us recommendations on places to visit in Rethymno and she even provided a welcome drink.

The place is beautifully designed, immaculate clean, the room was spacious and comfortable. The inner court with the small but pleasurable pool is a gem. The location is great, just at the hart of things, 6-8 min to the old harbour. The host Agipa is welcoming, attentive and helpful.

The host was delightful! Her recommendations of where to go were fantastic. The location was perfect; close to the shops, restaurants and the beach. The property was kept extremely clean and it was lovely to be able to rest either in your air-conditioned room or relax by the pool. The room was spacious and very nicely presented. Agipa is the kindest and most attentive host we have encountered. She is gracious and helpful and gave us a host of excellent information when we checked in. Would highly recommend this accommodation as it is close to the old town without the noise, very peaceful.

Our stay was perfect. The suites were in a fantastic location a few minutes walk to the old town with so many great restaurants, 15 minute walk to the beach & 10 minute walk to the bus station. The pool and garden are small but beautiful and we enjoyed these after a busy day out. The shower was powerful and a good size. Lovely fluffy towels were provided. The bed was large & comfortable with great air-conditioning guaranteeing a great night's sleep.

It was difficult to find parking anywhere nearby. Personally we thought some of the outside table seating could be changed to sun chairs to utilize the limited space even better. 😊

Lovely accomodation with wonderful host. Location could not have been better, The old town has our hearts ❤️ Loved the pool in the back and that you could get super clean filtered water to drink from tap 😊We had a problem with aircon but it was promptly fixed.
