Unfortunately the room was small and the walls and door very thin so we could ear everything including outside the trash disposal truck that was very loud sometime after midnight.

The room was very clean and the staff was friendly. We could keep our bags in the hotel after check out. And the location is fantastic. We could visit all the prime spots on foot.

We had room with private detached bath. Dont recommend this room as the bathroom has no ventilation and the smell was musty and foul. Both nights of our 2 night stay noisy street workers at 1-2 am. Not sure of this is usual time for trash pick up and power washing the sidewalks right outside our window but we experienced both nights

Shower water sometimes runs into the bathroom floor area… Could use a hot water pot or coffeemaker.

I didn't give a perfect score because of the very restricted space in the rooms. I went with a friend and we shared a double bed because when we booked we couldn't find a room with 2 single beds. So in our room was just space to store 1 suitcase, the wardrobe is a 2 door wardrobe but has the fridge inside which makes it even harder to hand or have the clothes folded as there is not enough space. On top of the wardrobe, we had the tv. Shower very small, everything very small, I nearly broke the glass top on the sink trying to wash my face in the morning. Overall, great staff, great service but very space restricted.

It was absolutely fantastic because it is right in the heart of Plaka, which makes it so easy to visit all the touristic areas. Very friendly staff, very clean, always there when you need them.

The bed wasn’t super comfy, and the external (but private) bathroom made it a bit less seamless. That being said, the bathroom was very nice and clean, just external to our room.

The location of this property was great! We had a view of the Acropolis off our balcony and were so pleased with that. The 24/7 reception was very appreciated.

The tiles in the shower base are rather slippery, I found I had to put down a hand towel to ensure I didn’t slip.

Perfect location in the heart of Plaka. Had a lovely view of the Acropolis from my little balcony and, of course, an even better view from the roof terrace. Lovely continental breakfast for only 7€.

Given the incredible location and how affordable this hotel is, I didn't expect a fancy room. The rooms are very small with no view and the bathroom, including the shower, feels cramped.

The location of Phaedra is perfect, on the edge of the Plaka district, within easy walking distance of many of Athens' best attractions. 10minutes walk from Syntagma square where the metro and bus from the airport stops. The view from the rooftop is amazing, perfect for having your own sundowner there (note, there is no bar at the top so you have to take your own drinks/snacks). The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Our room was very cramped but once you accept that you're in a budget hotel and set your expectations accordingly you shouldn't be disappointed by your stay here.

Hotel is well located in Plaka, just a few minutes walks from Akropoli metro. The rooms vary in size, we went for a double en-suite which is possibly the smallest of the room configurations. If you have more than one suitcase you could be struggling for space but there is a large balcony overlooking the church (which means no direct sun in the afternoons/evenings - a good thing). There is a good view of the Acropolis escarpment. The roof top terrace has nice views over the city. Breakfast is fairly basic and we preferred going to the Plakaki Cafe just a couple of minutes north of the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were nice and clean.

Very basic hotel. You also have to hand your key in every time you leave (which we found odd).
