Depending on the apartment there can be no air circulating when opening the balcony but there is Air Conditioning.

Maria's attention to detail and her sunny character. The atmosphere was so nice and her husband and friend made us feel part of her small and caring family. We were provided ice because I got bitten by a horsefly and she even offered to take me to the doctor's, luckily everything went fine. Apartment is nicely furnished (loved the driftwood shelf) and is cleaned every day. Shower has a good water pressure. We will come back for sure!!! See you very soon :-)

I couldn’t get warm water in the morning.

It was easy to find and close to the port and bars/restaurants. It was extremely clean. The bathroom was modern and the shower on the evening was fabulous. The bed was very comfortable. We stayed in Room 1 which had sun on the evening and again in the morning. We really enjoyed our stay.

nothing - everything was perfect!

We had an excellent stay at Gioula's residence. Maria and her husband Billy made us feel very welcome and were very helpful if we needed to ask anything. The room had a sea view, was very clean and the beds so comfortable. Gioula's residence is beautifully decorated and the gardens of the property are very well maintained, it was such a fantastic pace to stay. We would love to return on the next visit to Alonissos to stay here.

What a gem. Newly renovated rooms. Lovely hosts. I felt very welcome indeed. The location is a 5-minute walk from the port, and a 2-minute walk from the mini-market. When I had a problem with my rental car booking, my hosts were able to find a solution within minutes. I shall definitely return.

Nothing - my stay was perfect.

The location is perfect, easy flat walking distance from the ferry. Maria is lovely and when I incorrectly booked a room and not an apartment she allowed me to use her kitchen for breakfast. Nothing was to much trouble for her. The building top floor is a recent addition and is well thought out with a decent size shower and ensuite.

The location was great, restaurant and port within walking distance. The staff were nice and helpful. The room was cozy and there was everything you needed. The bathroom was nice and spacious. A good accommodation for someone who wants to explore the island.

Not something we disliked but improvements we think would benefit the place: It is a bit nosy in the evenings, because there are a lot of scooters being used in the area (it would be great if they started using electric scooters) The roll-door that separates the bedroom from the livingroom could be replaced by a more quiet option. Mosquito nets or some mosquito rapellent in the room would be great. Some salt&pepper and maybe sugar would be nice in the kitchen in case the guests forget to bring in (we forgot about salt but asked our host and she gave plenty)

The room we had was at least 3 stars (not 2). We had a studio apartment with a bedroom, livingroom with open kitchen and a nice bathroom. Furniture was new, kitchen was well equiped, the living had 2 beds plus a large table to have a nice meal with our friends. We had our room cleaned and towels+linens changed during our days out. Gioula is right by the port so we were in walking distance of all the shops, taverns and the parking which was also in the port (the little town has narrow streets and it is hard to find a parking spot - they are usually used mostly by the locals if they have one close to home) Great value for the money we payed. Our host was very nice to us. Everything we needed we just asked and it got taken care of.

The owner is very friendly and helpful. Ask him for suggestions for places to eat or go! The room was of a decent size and the kitchen was well equipped with all you need to cook.
