Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Beautiful location and very relaxing. Loved that the hotel arranged pick up and drop off for ferry. This was a very friendly service. The breakfast was lovely and really liked the girl who served us. The hotel is located between 2 lovely bays that you can get water taxi to from 9am and buses run every half hour into town. Local tavernas give you a true Greek experience. Definitely recommend getting up for the sunrise it was the best experience.

TurkeyThey give THEIR sun beds in front of the hotel for 10 euros per day. 20 euros for 2 people-. (We couldn't understand why hotel customers are charged a fee and I think it's an expensive price for sunbeds-eachday. )and they have to mention about it before making reservation on booking. The wifi was very bad and did not work in the room. This situation was really difficult for us
The location is close to the centre. It is within walking distance of St Nikolad Bay and the sea there is also magnificent. rooms are clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is very nice to have a beach in front of the hotel. We loved that it was close to the center and away from the crowds.

United KingdomOnly criticism would be the shower it’s a handheld one and perhaps overhead one would be an improvement.
Our second stay here and we just love it. The staff are all amazing can’t do enough for you! Pedi is out of main town but you can go in and out of town on the bus. I love the fact that the hotel is on beach. Lots of improvements this year nice comfy loungers plus on upgrade on communal areas. We are looking forward to returning next year.

United StatesWe really enjoyed everything but would only suggest clearer communication prior to arrival (we were at first unclear if a double would be two twin beds-yes two twins, so that was good) even though beds are a little on the too firm side. We were thankful for nice sustainable toiletries provided and the extra handholds since the bathtubs are a bit on the slippery side). We enjoyed both buffet food and special orders but would prefer more care that food be kept hot (or cold) an hour after the start of serving the buffet. We found all buffet food to be perfect at the early start of breakfast (which we were often late to) but the start of dinner with piping hot foods and fresh cold salads were excellent). Really not much wrong at all and we would certainly love to return!
We enjoyed everything starting from the helpful and friendly pickup to the dropoff at the port (by Andreas with Symi tours arranged in advance free by the hotel), the lovely welcome and service throughout, the excellent food with traditional meals (Kleftika, Moussakka, Stifado, etc), and even special gluten-free care (by chef Arthur), and the cleanliness and service by ALL the staff. The new upgrades by management (by Markos) to enhanced WiFi and the different areas to relax with the loungers for a drink fee, or any of the other relaxing free areas were all excellent. Only steps across from the hotel is the perfectly clear waters for perfect swimming and the water taxi to two nearby beaches (also walking distance if desired). Nearby are a few markets and restaurants. The bus to Symi ran on the hour. AC, fridge, and hot water showers all great! The relaxed welcoming attitude and care by all on staff helped make our stay a wonderful relaxing and recuperating time. Two handicapped rooms are also available. We loved our side partial view balcony of the sea and the quiet of the village.

TurkeyThe smoke alarm light flashed all night, which kept waking me up. Maybe mosquito screens on the balcony doors for guests who hate aircon?
The location, sea and sunbeds. A clean, spacious room, with a comfortable bed and cotton sheets. Love the balcony and fresh air. Good breakfast and very helpful staff.

United KingdomIf you like cooked breakfast would get up early because couple of times just warm. Cocktails depending on who makes them, new girl served up foam as drink. Sun beds.. hmm..charging for inside €10 euros however free drink included. But speaking to people it doesn’t help when people bring down their own drink & food.
Breakfast lots of variety..lots of fresh fruit croissant, bacon etc. Beds in deluxe room super comfy (even though had to share with mum..no singles available at time of booking) my friend said sofa bed comfy too. Cocktails loads of choices chi chi chi is fantastic!! Had side view of sea which was a pleasant surprise. Hotel spotless. We loved reception staff & Asteropi too who was so cheerful. People who made our rooms sparkle every day thanks so much.

United States10s across the spectrum. Location unique, but easy to get to/from via hourly bus and free pick up & return service from main town & ferries. The beach & water views are stunning day or night. The breakfast buffet was comprehensive and delicious-hotel also serves lovely lunch and dinner (shoulder season was buffet dinner-which we enjoyed one night). Also, the website pictures as of October 2023 don’t reflect re-do of front entry which is even prettier & welcoming. We enjoyed both breakfast and drinks out there at night.

AustraliaInconsiderate guests who would leave their personal effects on the prime sunbeds and not use them for hours. It would be good if management kept a tighter control over this.

United KingdomThe breakfast was plentiful but tasted average. The juices were all synthetic.
Amazing location right opposite small beach with large swimming area. Crystal clear sea. Short walk to lovely taverna and cafe - for both turn right as you leave hotel. Free beach loungers on patio of hotel, but facing sea - which is steps away across a small quiet road. Water taxis 3 mins away to other beaches and shuttle bus to town. We didn't use either as we loved the location. Many guest had stayed multiple times - one lady had been 24 times!
