We were sad to leave

We have stayed on Koufonisia many times and this was the best hotel we have ever stayed at. The location was perfect being just a few steps away from Finikas beach, and a short walk into town. The room was very large and stylishly decorated, with a private balcony with an exquisite view of the turquoise waters of the Koufonisia sea. Very tranquil and quiet too. Breakfast was exceptional with a wide choice and gorgeous coffees. Extra touches like free towels, chairs and umbrellas for the beach really made the place feel very polished. A very special thank you to all of the staff who were all extremely professional, attentive and friendly. We thank you all for a wonderful stay and our beautiful parting gift. Nothing really. The only niggle I had is that our room (104) was located by the steps to the basement laundry where I believe the mix of warm air from the dryers and the cigarette smoke would hit you as you entered and exited the room. Not enough to dissuade me from re-booking this property but something for hosts to bear in mind so that guest experience is not affected by unpleasant smell.

Beautifully designed and fitted out. Peaceful location with sublime view of sea/beach/Keros island. Amazing staff. Attentive, welcoming, exceeding expectations; nothing too much trouble. Lovely breakfasts.

A spotless clean and safe property on a fantastic location. The staff was not only professional but provided every service and assistance with a smile. The Junior suite was very spacious, had many amenities and spotless clean.

Amazing experience with the nicest staff you could ever find. The hotel is extremely nice and with amazing views, perfectly located. It’s a simple hotel without too many services, but the staff is 5-star hotel level, if not better. Everyone is super professional and friendly, not sure how they managed to hire people like this.

I completely recommend all couples to stay here if you want to relax without a care in the world. The staff couldn’t be nicer, always trying to help and make your stay the best possible. The rooms are also lovely, decorated with great taste and modernity at the same time they give you a Greek house experience. Loved it!

We stayed for five nights with my wife and Pangaia exceeded our expectations. It is located about a 10-minute walk from the port and there are 3 main beaches in walking distance (Foinikas,Fanos,Italida). The room was spacy and spot clean. The breakfast was full of various choices (vegan too) and everything we tasted was delicious ( I can’t recommend enough the homemade marmalades,one of the best I’ve ever tasted) They provided us transport from and to the port, beach umbrellas and chairs and at the day of our check out , a place to take a shower after the beach so we don’t miss our swim. The whole experience is completed with the amazing staff who were extremely polite, professionals and helpful. Thanks for everything Pangaia, we will surely visit again!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Pangaia in Koufonisi, and I can confidently say it was one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was outstanding. The staff welcomed me with big smiles and a genuine willingness to assist with anything I needed. The room was excellent, offering breathtaking views of the sea that made each morning a joy to wake up to. It was impeccably clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed to enhance the beauty of the surrounding environment. The breakfast served each morning was another highlight. The variety and quality of the food were impressive, with fresh, local ingredients that made each meal a delight. The overall service at Pangaia is truly exceptional. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, professional, and eager to ensure my stay was perfect. Their warm and welcoming attitude made me feel right at home. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Koufonisi that combines outstanding service, beautiful accommodations, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, Pangaia is the perfect choice. Huge room + quiet amazing balcony with sun bed, fantastic breakfast, lovely staff. Great location just above a great beach and local beach restaurant. Hourly boat to the far beach + town just steps away.

The professionalism, friendliness and attention to detail of the staff was the highlight for me. From the welcome to the check-out, they really were top level. A big thank you from us to the housekeepers, kitchen team and front of house! The room was wonderful, with fantastic views out to Keros island and a delightful private terrace seating area. Really clean and well designed. The breakfasts are unmissable, great selection of freshly made, delicious food. For us, the location was good, about a 15 minute walk along the coast from the town, and a 5 minute to Fanos beach (in our opinion, the best one). There is also a little beach-hopping boat if you don't want the walk.

Exceeded our expectations by far.... Not sure where to start from; very helpful and friendly personnel to assist us in all circumstances (many thanks to all of them!), clean and diligently tidied up ergonomic rooms with great decoration, great breakfast with big variety to chose from, excellent location between Chora, Italida and Pori, honestly couldn't wish for more! Till the next time!

The rooms are beautiful and equipped with everything you need. We even got an upgrade when we arrived. The staff is very very friendly and supportive without being pushy. At breakfast your coffee mug will never be empty for too long. ;)

Fantastic location close to the best beaches and walking distance (15 mins) to town. Very high quality accommodation, built recently in a traditional Cycladic style and with great views. All staff excellent - so friendly and welcoming.

These beautiful, traditional villas are in an incredible, quiet location, with stunning views across the ocean, and are just a 2 minute walk to the beach, and 15 minute walk into town. We received a very warm and personalised welcome from the staff upon arrival (transfers included) and their impeccable hospitality continued throughout our stay. The buffet breakfast was fantastic, and would highly recommend Finikas taverna on the beach; one of the best authentic Greek taverna meals we had whilst in Greece!
