Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaTiny little balcony which was nice for brekki but too hot any other time of day. No shade. Narrow staircase that u have to get your bags up.
A really affordable room in a brilliant possie. It’s close to the bus station, windmills, Little Venice and all of the restaurants and shopping. Loved walking around all the gorgeous little cobblestone alleys. We enjoyed our walks around to the nearby beach for a pre brekki swim. Enjoyed one of our best meals at De Angelo’s which is just down the road from Orpheas. Highly recommend

Saudi ArabiaThe price was a little high, however we were travelling in the peak of tourist season in Greece
Orpheas is in a fantastic location. The bus stop is located just around the corner and everything is within a 5-10 minute walk. Some fantastic food options right down the road. The noise level is still fairly low given the location so sleeping wasn’t a problem. The room was very clean and tidy, including the bathroom.

New ZealandThe shower was pretty terrible - tiny and no shower door/curtain so you essentially soaked the whole bathroom every time you showered, completely unavoidable. Great location which is close to all the shops and eateries but beware it can be pretty noisy in the street at night since you’re almost in the hub of it all.
Super friendly staff and great location. We were upgraded to a sea view room which had a double bed (not my preference as I had requested two beds since I was travelling with a friend but appreciated the upgrade nonetheless as the view was beautiful). The room was on the upper floor with really steep stairs so just be mindful if your luggage is heavy! Highly recommend Laundry Cafe, the little coffee spot a few doors down (great coffee and smoothies), and also D’Angelo’s for lunch or dinner.

ItalyThe room was small, but I think it’s normal for Mykononos, so I totally understand that.
I loved that it was right in the town center, next to the windmills, beaches and a bus station.

United KingdomMe and two other girls stayed at this property for 2 nights while visiting Mykonos. We were greeted by Eva who was so lovely and very helpful. She gave us a map of the area, along with some food reccomendations, places to see and information regarding how to get around the island. The rooms themselves are right in the middle of the town close to some of the main tourist attractions: the windmills and "little Venice", as well as plenty of places to eat, walkable distances to 2 beaches and the nightlife. The main bus stop is also right beside the accommodation making it very accessible to get to other parts of the island. The room itself isn't huge but it was wasn't an issue for a 2 night stay. As we were in a triple room there is no balcony, however there is a small rooftop area we were able to sit in if we wanted to. Overall I would recommend this accommodation to others as we had a very pleasant stay.

AustraliaWhat an amazing time we had staying here. Super spacious, daily house cleaning, views of the ocean and centrally located in Mykonos town. In my opinion it was the ideal location - peace and silence during the day and night, yet only a 5 minute walk away from bars, restaurants, clubs etc. I will staying here whenever I return to Mykonos. The host so friendly and helpful as well.
