The room was too small for my taste, the bed was too close to the toilet, hardly any room to move. The window directly faced the balcony so if someone smokes a cigarette, all the smoke enters the room, so it doesn't really feel comfortable.

The hotel is really nice. The staff is amazing.

The only negative is street noise which on a Saturday night is loud (music, shouting and traffic) the the balcony door closed and aircon on it was still audible.

A beautiful building and well converted. I had a deluxe double room with a balcony and street view of the church opposite. The room was spacious and a large shower. Some fittings are starting to show their age but everything worked fine. The staff and extremely helpful and friendly.

The fridge in the bar did not work, also there were lots of broken handles (bathroom door handle for one) that made access difficult. however over all brilliant location and a beautiful room. once they sort out the issues with the room all will be perfect

While the hotel is in a central location, it is on a very busy street in a neighbourhood with bars (and a restaurant directly underneath) that plays music and has people walking about well into the early hours of the morning which may not suit you if light sleeper. While we appreciate that hotel cannot choose its neighbours, having to wear ear plugs to block out noise may not work for everyone. While tea/coffee is offered in the rooms, felt that the €2 charge for a single Nepresso pod was a bit mean. As a minor point as well, some of the bed sheets could do with some refresh as we noted some small stains/marks.

Staff were very friendly, welcoming and helped us with queries we had on our travel arrangements and places for a drink during our stay. The aesthetic of the hotel is very nice, mixing a modern style but within an older building. Our rooms had nice ceilings as well. Room facilities were good, nice air-con to cool you down from Athens heat which is always appreciated. Clean bathrooms/showers. Great location if you need somewhere central to stay. Close to a train/metro station, numerous restaurants and bars as well as the Old Town if looking to explore the Parthenon etc. All walking distance! While in a busy neighbourhood, we had no concerns about safety during our stay.

Bathroom was a bit cramped. Mezzanine floor was quite noisy with the busy restaurants just beneath the rooms. Although there are double glazed windows the sound comes up through the floor. Next time I would ask for a room higher up.

The standard room was very small. The bottles of water and the coffee capsules in the room weren’t free and the prices were quite unreasonable for Greece (it is usually a custom to offer a bottle of water and complimentary coffee capsules in Greece)

Please note due to shared walls with neighbouring buildings our room did not have a window, it did however have a skylight- this is just an FYI for those wanting a window.

Room size is great and has a nice modern bathroom. The noise from the streets, bars nearby was mentioned and I had the room right next to the bar, clearly hearing the music till late. Didn't affect my sleep but maybe something to consider when booking.
