The perfect stay! A beautiful clean and bright apartment close to the beach and a balcony with a view into the hills. Vivi was so friendly and we felt very welcome! Lots of good family owned restaurants within walking distance.

First of all, the accommodation is very friendly, which is the norm on the whole island. They cleaned our room every day, helped us with the shopping at the beginning of our arrival, and later with the motorbike and quad rental. They were flexible in every way. The hosts were great people to meet, we will definitely be back and would recommend this place to any Hungarian traveller.

The shower gets clogged a little and there's some smell from the drainage in the bathroom, it's be great if something could be done about it

The outer area was really beautiful, with lots of plants and the room had a view towards the olives and the garden. It was very quiet and peaceful. The location was around 5 minutes walk from the beach and very close from good restaurants. Thank you, Vivi! We had a wonderful time! Very clean also and the kitchenette provided all you needed for breakfast.

It was nice and clean, friendly hosts, very good location - 6-10 minutes walk from the beautiful sandy beach. Plenty of restaurants very close - 2-5 minutes walk. Small but cozy area. Ask Vivi for boat trips to the nearby small islands, you'll get better price than via internet or in the city.

Vivi was absolutely lovely. Flexible check in time and made us feel very welcome. The location is perfect, in a beautiful garden surrounded by mountains and trees, with the beach a 5 min walk away with many restaurants.

Bathroom looks outdated, no warm water during cloudy days and Wi-Fi works poorly. But these things didn’t disturb us at all.

Amazingly friendly owners. We would find our room sparklingly clean each day-even the dishes would get washed and would find a cute ribbon made out of cover sheets. Great taverna nearby with traditional Greek cuisine and their dances.

We expected a bit more cooking facilities. It was fine, but not too easy to cook by yourself.

Very nice and clean apartment near the beach (7 minutes) and several tavernas. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well-equipped, and the room has a nice balcony -ideal for breakfast or evening relaxation. AC is working well and is very quiet, which is great at night. The room is cleaned every day (this is not usual in Greece) by Vivi, who is always smiling and with her husband Nikos are taking everyday care of the house and garden, where you can find sweet figs. We felt there very well. There are also parking spaces in the shadow of olive trees. If we choose Marathias again, this room will be our first choice.

The bathroom in the room we had needs improvements. The toilet has issues flushing and there is a pot you can use to get water from the shower and poor it down the toilet.

It has an amazing view and a very good location. It's close to a couple of restaurants and a very nice, sandy, beach. It is cleaned daily and the hosts are very thoughtful.

The hosts were so kind, helpful and positive. The interior of the room is furnished with with a great style and it is equipped with all the needed appliances. Everything worked well. The surrounding is lovely, the garden is well maintained and full of beautiful flowers. The view from the balcony is excellent. All in all our stay was a great experience. We loved to stay here, and we would love to come back.

A great studio apartment close to the beach of Santa Barbara. Lovely lovely hosts, daily cleaning service, a nice balcony to have breakfast and sit throughout the day, all we needed in the kitchen to prepare quick meals. This is a great area to be based in Corfu if you want to relax and visit several quiet sandy beaches!

Although it’s a small road passing by the house to the beach, could be a bit noisy during evening time when motorcycles and cars are passing by. Nothing much you can do about that.

+ Nikos and Vivi are very kind and lovely hosts. Unfortunately we did not speek Greek, so our communication was limited to lots of smiles, hugs and thanks :) + Beautiful balcony overlooking olive trees and vineyard + Waling up with roostee singing.
