Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

The suite was big and bed was comfortable. Parking was good if you have your own car. Location was brilliant being across the road from Kalamaki Beach.

EgyptThere was a bad awful smell coming from the bathroom most of the day, most probably related to the sewer system, so we had to close the bathroom door to minimize the bad smell as much as possible.
Perfect location if you wanna stay close to the beach and the beach clubs at the athenian riviera. Also very close to the bus station if u wanna go to the city center. Good value for money. Nice staff.

The beach is very close, you just have to cross the road and it's there. Within a 500 meters walk you can find restaurantes, shopes, pastries and convenient stores so you don't have to go far away for anything.

Hungary1. There is a slight gas/diesel smell in the room when you step in, I assume because the AC is running on it. 2. The mini fridge in the room was not cooling properly, and it would be nice in the summer to put water inside to cool. 3. The entrance to the bathroom is narrow, like, not built for anyone above 100kg, so I had to enter the bathroom sideways, which is a bit ridicuolus. Why would you design the entrance door to guide you right on to the sink, so you must squeeze?
For the price range, in my opinion, I got what I expected. Running AC in the room, comfortable bed, private bathroom. The breakfast was, while limited in choices, but enough in quantities.

AustriaThe bathroom was a catastrophe. It was dirty, the shower was super tiny and there weren’t any shower curtains. After we took our first shower, the drain in the middle of the bathroom floor suddenly filled up and flooded the whole bathroom with dirty water!! On the other hand, after telling the receptionist, they fixed it on the same day and it didn’t happen again. But the whole week we stayed there, the room was never cleaned, not once.
The location was great! There was a supermarket just a few minutes away and the beach was right across the street. There was also a bus-station near, that drives directly to the city center in about 40 minutes, which was perfect for us.

SwedenThe breakfast was not good unfortunately. I skipped the breakfast during my stay there. The bathroom lacked the curtain, so after the shower the whole bathroom was wet. There was food in the fridge that seems to be staying there for quite a long time. There was no chair, but there was a desk.
I liked that there was a beach nearby just across the road. There is a tram stop that leads to Syntagma, The room was okay, but could be better of course. There are some cafes nearby the hotel area, 5-10 mins away
