Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ItalyThis is, without a doubt, the most exceptional hotel I have ever stayed at. There is something truly magical about the property—it’s not only stunning and cozy but also beautifully furnished and artistically decorated. From the moment you arrive, you’ll feel completely transported, embraced by a sense of peace and serenity, and lovingly cared for by the remarkable owners, Arnaud and Thierry. They are the most gracious hosts, always ready with thoughtful advice and a warm smile, offering an unmatched level of care and attentiveness, all while maintaining a quiet and gentle presence. Each morning, they prepare the most delightful homemade breakfasts, going above and beyond to cater to individual preferences with genuine kindness and flexibility. What sets this place apart is the enchanting atmosphere. There’s a bohemian charm that will captivate your soul. Arnaud, a talented artist, has his own atelier within the villa, so you’re surrounded by an inspiring world of art and beauty throughout your stay. I highly recommend staying at least a week to fully savor the breathtaking sunsets, relax by the wonderful pool, indulge in the soothing jacuzzi, and enjoy Arnaud’s delicious dinners. The property is ideally located in one of the island’s most picturesque spots, with two beautiful beaches and charming tavernas just a short stroll away. Lia Beach, in particular, is the island’s best-kept secret. Next time, we plan to spend our entire vacation at the villa, soaking in the beauty and tranquility of this perfect getaway. It’s a hidden gem that will leave you longing to return.

BelgiumArnaud and Thierry have created a magic oasis in the quieter part of the island, walking distance to a small lovely beach and very close to Lia beach which has a nice beach club. Their beautiful home is very well designed with many places to sit and read, and decorated with Arnaud's paintings, furniture, and a lovely view across to Lia beach and a gorgeous infinity pool. The welcome is exceptional. A wonderful place to return to for a real rest. The rooms are stylish and comfortable, the breakfast extremely well presented and delicious, and the home-cooked dinner and selection of wine first-rate. We got very helpful suggestions for beaches and tavernas too which we liked very much. Thank you both once again. We are looking forward to coming back to Villa Nautilia again soon!

United KingdomThere really was very little (or rather, NOTHING!) to dislike about the place...our stay was truly flawless. I would just recommend staying longer than we did (which was 2 nights) to make the most of the facilities (pool, jacuzzi) and room on the villa as for most of it, we were out exploring the island.
My partner and I stayed in this villa a couple of weeks ago. We were absolutely delighted with the huge amount of attention and care to detail as guests by the kind and supportive Arnaud and Thierry. I had sent a message beforehand explaining my allergens, but Arnaud was able to make some gluten free/lactose pastries that I thoroughly enjoyed. They also provided some great recommendations of places to eat during our short stay and helped with advice on car hire, which honestly was above and beyond most hosts we've stayed with. Hugely generous and kind people. The spread of food at breakfast was substantial and varied - a mix of continental and Greek with some wonderful homemade bread and cakes. A highlight was Arnaud's homemade quince jam made from the quince they grow on the property. Unfortunately we didn't get a chance to use the fabulous jacuzzi and pool which was situated on the property, due to our short visit - both of us definitely could have benefited from relaxation time by the pool if we had stayed a few days more. Both my partner and I were incredibly pleased with our choice of stay - we both wanted an idyllic and peaceful property without the bustle and busy nightlife of Mykonos and this villa fitted that criteria perfectly, so we had some perfect rest and relaxation whilst we were there - the private beach a short walk from the property was a lovely touch. The size of our room was wonderful - high ceilings with some incredible views overlooking the coast and Lia Beach. The decor was perfectly matched to the hosts who greeted us - typical Greek villa with a touch of French interior decor - this decor carried on through to the rest of the property, including the comfortable lounge area. The place is decorated with some of Arnaud's paintings which made our stay really feel like we were staying in their home. The size of the bed in our room was very comfortable and perfect for my 6'4" partner!

GermanyA week at the end of May 2024 at Villa Nautilia, an unforgettable time! Perfect hosts, a breakfast fit for a king, and an excellent dinner on request. Away from the usual hustle and bustle, in the southern part of Mykonos with a wonderful view of Lia Beach. The very well-kept property is a dream, the interior exquisitely designed with great attention to detail. The art of enjoying life is the motto here and combines Greek island life with the savoir vivre of the French hosts in the best possible way. We felt like we were among friends with charming hosts. Not least because of our decades of experience in the Aegean, we can wholeheartedly recommend Villa Nautilia and their hosts Thierry and Arnaud! It was a stay of superlatives. Wonderful in every way. Car rental is highly recommended, Thierry and Arnaud have the best recommendations for the most beautiful spots on the island. Klaus & Angelica

United StatesThere is nothing to not like. All was excellent!
The hosts were very attentive and made the stay more special. They cooked an amazing breakfast every morning and even offered a 3 course dinner. We had their dinner 2 times and it was beautifully made and presented, with a gorgeous view of Lia Beach and islands beyond. Our bungalow 9 was a traditional stone building, with a lovely private lounge area in the sun and a shaded sitting area all outside. We were moved to bungalow 11, which was a little bigger and a more direct view of the beach when it was vacant and offered by the host. The property is gorgeous with an infinity pool and plenty of shared outdoor seating and shared living room. Walking to the beach was an easy 10 minute walk. We would highly recommend this property if quiet and relaxation is what you want on Mykonos.

CanadaYou need a car, preferably one that can handle bumpy, dirt roads, as this place is far from the main town and ports. But this wasn't an issue for us because we wanted to be in a quieter part of the island and we had read about the condition of the roads in these parts.
This place shows another side of Mykonos, offering views of peacefulness and beauty. The food was also delicious. Truly a hidden treasure that exceeded our expectations. If ever back in Mykonos, this would be our first choice.

United Arab EmiratesHonestly there is nothing I disliked about this hotel.
I loved everything about this place. The staff are super nice, the hotel feels like a home tbh. The owners of the hotel will make everyone a ymmy breakfast, the room looks better than the pictures and our terrace had the best view. the location is quite secluded and quiet, the perfect getaway from the noisy city but still fairly close to the center (20 minutes by car). the beach is a walk away and its EMPTY! just the perfect place if you want to clear your mind and chill with amazing views and nice people around :) Will definitely come back!

ItalyThe place is incredible, with the most beautiful view over Lia beach. It's a boutique hotel, with beautiful and spacious rooms decorated with care and personality. The road to get there is a bit bumpy, but this contributes to the peace and quiet and to make the place feel more intimate. Thierry and Arnaud are beautiful hosts and a lot of fun. Plus, Arnaud is an incredible chef, preparing delicious and fresh food.
