Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United Kingdomthe only downside was that our room was in the next door hotel and everytime we ordered drinks/food at the pool area we had to go through a longer process to pay as this couldn't be added to our room like other people
excellent breakfast lovely pool areas - great to have a choice of two nice bar and food options really helpful and friendly reception staff - gave us some amazing recommendations for food and areas which we were really grateful for and can see why they were recommended! also really helpful advice and signposting for e.g rentals about a 10-15 minute walk into main town but very easy straight road

CanadaAlthough we had access to all the facilities, the Mrs. Armelina guests could not charge food and drink their rooms. Not the end of the world at all, just remember your cash/card when you head to the pool bar.

AustraliaRooms and facilities in need of an update.
Mrs Amelina shares the amenities of the neighbouring Mr and Mrs white hotel. What you are really paying for here is access to the pools. While the place was neat enough (could do with a general refresh as the rooms and even pool area looked a little run down), the rooms were pretty average for this price point, particularly the bathroom. If you’re keen to relax by the pool, this will be a great place for you, however if you plan to see the beaches and get amongst it, I suggest something closer to town for the value.

South AfricaThis was the first time we’ve stayed at a property that closed their pool from 8pm- 9 or 10am. Reason- the pool needs to filter and clean. During summer you are out most of the day exploring. Sunset is 9pm and still hot- it would have been great to go for an early morning/ night swim before or after a long hot day. Beautiful pools (X3) but we were to early/late to enjoy.
Excellent breakfast

United KingdomThe prices at the bar are quite high and there is not much on offer. The location in a 10-15 walk to town so bare that in mind. It was really difficult doing this walk with a suitcase as the road surface is terrible and on a hill!
The hotel is lovely and has 3 pools, lots of choice of where to relax and the staff are very helpful. The room was basic but a nice size and was cleaned every day.

FinlandThe bed is probably the hardest bed I have ever tried to sleep on. I say tried, because sleeping for the first night was impossible and left me with a sore back. However, the staff was kind enough to help and gave us an extra matress on top of the bed which made the bed very comfortable for the rest of the nights. The shower in the room is also very small and makes the entire bathroom wet after showering. I also would have liked a bit more ammenities in the room, such as glasses, a mug etc for your toothbrush and toothpaste. Also some pool towels at the Armelina pool would have been great, as it is a small walk to get the towels if you want to stay at the pool.
The hotel is beautiful with three big pools and amazing staff. The breakfast is delicious and the location is great, just 10-15 minutes to Naoussa centre. The surroundings and common areas are pretty with beautiful pink flowers and white stone walls.

United KingdomFacilities felt a little dated and the Mrs Armenia hotel is linked but a separate building. They let you use the pool for the Mr and Mrs White hotel pool with the bar which is nice but you were made to feel slightly like you’d gone with a cheaper option by staff and you couldn’t start a tab for pool drinks and food at the bar - you had to go inside to pay each time which made the experience less relaxing and feels like an easy fix that could be done. Room was tight for space.
Well laid out with good breakfast options and two good sized pools. About 10-15 minutes walk into the town which was downhill on the way there, uphill on the way back. Staff were helpful when we had questions/requests

SloveniaI found bodyhair in scrambled eggs. It didn't fall in after, but before or during cooking eggs because hair was coverd with eggs. Breakfast is basic. You can't lock/close window in bathroom - lock is broken. Room is basic and old. No closet. Walls are so thin that you can hear everything from outside and from rooms next to you, everything! Also when someone in rooms next to you flushes water or shower you can hear very loud water noises in walls and in your sink. You have to do web check in. For price that we paid it is not worth it.
I like cleaning lady Natasha, she was nice.
