Eleni and her staff are just lovely. The hotel is perfect for anyone who wants to relax away from the hustle and bustle of Chania centre. The views from the terrace are jaw dropping.

If I could pick something out it would be the carpets in the room. I think it would be more clean without them. Some of the furniture could also be upgraded, but its not a big deal, didnt affect our stay at the hotel.

The hotel had a retro vibe with really interesting and simple decor with a feeling like you are at home. Smelled really nice, well lit hallways and garden area, one bar and one restaurant overlooking the pool, where breakfast was served. Palm trees and lovely bloomed flowers really gave a paradise like feel to the place. The owners were really nice and helpful, they made us feel even better on our holiday. Breakfast was freshly served every morning, fresh orange juice, eggs and bacon, home made yogurt with honey, lovely little desserts and even tho it didnt have lot of choices was really nice. Pool was big and with warm water during the day and night, perfect for relaxation after the beach. The room was spacious with two big balconies, one overlooking the pool and the sea, with an amazing views. Had all the needed amenities. I really liked the double window doors of the balconies with good sound isolation. Since most of the guests arrive by a car, as we did, the parking of the hotel was spot on, even had shadows from the hot sun under some well groomed trees. Location of the hotel is great for exploring the island, since its on a main street, you dont need to go into the busy town to get to all the beaches.

Beautiful pool, lovely friendly atmosphere. Easy parking, simple but delicious and well cooked food. Staff were very helpful, caring, and friendly. Very convenient to stay at near the airport (but not too close).

The hotel is run by a really wonderful family. Their care and attention are unmatched in our experience. This was our second stay and we weren't disappointed. Breakfast, views, pool etc. are all wonderful. If there is anything at all out of place, they will always make an effort to put it right. In fact, they go out of their way to assist and advise.

Everything was really good. Very cozy hotel with private parking, beautiful rooms, a beautiful garden and optimum location if you are coming from the airport or you want to visit the area. The breakfast was very good. The owner was nice, classy and thoughtful.

Only reservation we have in recommending this delightful hotel is if you cannot tolerate a background of traffic noise from the adjacent road. We soon found that it melted into the background.

the family who own the hotel were exceptionally kind and friendly and could not do enough for you. The view from the hotel was very good and it had a pretty garden and lovely trees. the pool was extremely clean. The rooms were cleaned very well. breakfast choice was good with a friendly atmosphere amongst the residents and staff. Good and safe parking. Useful little shops nearby. if you wish you can have a evening meal at the small hotel bistro.

Everything was perfect ! The two sisters owner of the hotel are very kind. They gave us many great suggestions for visiting.The rooms are bright with very comfortable beds. The big pool is so nice ! This hotel is near from everything by car and protected of the crowd of Hania.The view is awsome. We will come again when in Crete

Our room was wonderful, it had an amazing view of Chania town, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great ,lots of variety. the pool was awesome, plenty of parking. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would unreservedly recommend it to anyone.

It is a very cute hotel run by the loveliest family, they treated my friends and I so well from the minute we got there. They have great breakfast service and an amazing swimming pool, also the coffee is delicious. The room was really spacious for 4 people and all the beds were so comfortable. The public transportation connections to the city centre are great as well, the bus station is literally a min away from the hotel and it takes only like 15 to get there. I will definitely be going back if I visit Chania again, thank you so much for your hospitality :)

Noisy road - but provided very good additional screens and double glazing so did not hear it at night.

Great views overlooking Chania Town. Nice pool and area to relax and once got to know the staff were very good. Good breakfast with options for cooked eggs etc set us up well for the day. Easy to drive into town and bus stop close by.

There is some road noise but it didn’t trouble us.

We felt very warmly welcomed by Eleni and her family at Monte Vardia from the moment we arrived on holiday and left as friends. The staff (mostly family) were friendly yet discreet and professional. The hotel is a short taxi ride to Chania so we had both the benefit of being close to this charming and lively town, yet also had the peace and quiet of the hotel with its beautiful views over the sea to retreat to. Breakfast and dinner was also very good quality and lovely to have this served overlooking the pool. I would recommend a visit if you can make it to Crete Botanical Park. The park and it’s restaurant was one of the highlights of our visit.

The staff was extremely polite, especially Nicolas and his mum! The breakfast was really tasty - they even accommodated our very early breakfast request as we planned to pass the Samaria Gorge. Definitely recommend it! Thank you for the lovely stay!

The beds were not too comfy a bit lumpy and springy and had rough uncomfortable sheets. For someone with sensitive skin it was a bit more difficult.

Loved the staff, so very friendly and kind Loved the pool area, clean and comfortable. Loved the location, the balcony views and room facilities such as air con which was welcomed with the extreme heat. The hotel drinks prices were fair. Right next to bus stop so easy to travel into the heart of the city. Cleanliness overall was very good.
