I felt it could have been a little cheaper given the area and comparability, some of the items for sale as well I think would sell more of if it came down in price. It’s a very nice luxury boutique hotel but some of the price points could still come down.

The staff is awesome! Appreciated them always available via text and making my life easy. Also appreciated the extra food in the morning brought right to the room. Truly thank you.

Our room was very noisy, both from the street outside as from the hotel corridor. Also didn’t really like the curtains dividing the sanitary parts of the room in terms of hygiene. However, it was fine for the two nights we were there but would not prefer it for a longer period.

No storage area for a room of more than 50 sqare meters. No soundproof room: we can hear all the noise from the corridor. Towels hanging next to the toilets (hygien issue) No tissue in the room

We encountered some inconvenience when ordering food to the room. (The staff have since refunded us and apologised)

We absolutely loved the style of this hotel. ( A side note: if you don’t enjoy an artsy indie vibe this would definitely not be your ideal stay) Very chic and loved the art! The location is perfect to visit all main attractions in Athens. Definitely a hotel for couples! Using an ipad to communicate with the front desk is very useful. Breakfast is absolutely divine. Overall, staff are very polite and helpful!

Loved everything about this hotel. The location and the old beautiful refurbished building were all a 10/10. We were upgraded to a big beautiful room. The bed was extremely comfortable. We had to leave early in the morning to catch a ferry and the staff prepared us a breakfast bag to take on the ferry. It's in the little details that makes this hotel amazing.

Nothing disappointed me. Service was brilliant, room on point and facilities.

Everything from the first entry is a sensually delightful experience. So happy with my short stay. It was exactly the kind of landing I needed after a long flight. Felt to be languorous and this was the perfect spot for that. The bath was amazing. The finishings of the room, velvet curtains etc are all beautiful touches. The rooftop bar overlooking the acropolis, the delicious breakfast… heavenly!

In the reception area there are glass stairs that, honestly, freaked me out! I wish they would cover part of it with a rug. This is the most minor thing possible and would not stop me from staying here again!

Mona is in bustling location that gives you easy walking access to many of Athens popular destinations. The design is unparalleled with cozy linens, fluffy towels (a rarity in Greece), and amenities that will make you feel at ease. The complimentary breakfast is out of this world with plenty of choices from healthy to indulgent!

Beautiful and relaxing hotel in the heart of Athens. There’s no where else you want to stay. The rooms are gorgeous and offer a nice rest-bit from the bustle. The food is divine and views are stunning. The staff are helpful and lovely. Will come back next time we are in Athens.

Aesthetic design prioritised at the expense of comfort / convenience too often. Many small examples could be made (very low chairs across the room that are unusable as a result, lack of shelf space for items like toiletry bags by the sinks, etc.) but the most important being the lack of a functional shower in the bathrooms. Guests are instead encourage to use a hand shower whilst standing in a freestanding bath-tub and inevitably end up flooding the room. Looks cool but just doesn’t make any sense. Similarly, the toilet is only separated from the bed by a thin curtain and is right next to it. All for aesthetic design and experimental spaces but these adversely impacted our stay (especially the shower solution given the summer heat in Athens calls for a couple of showers a day when walking around!) Shame as the hotel was otherwise very enjoyable

The whole concept of the hotel is fantastic, so specific, the design is incredible. My room had also a little terrace and fantastic open bathroom. The rooftop is also really cool.
