Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

GermanyNO GYM! BIG shock. How can such a great place not have an internal gym. Honestly the external gym proposed is useless. Unfortunately, I will never go back to this place because NO GYM. two three machines would be enough in a room. A real shame no gym.
People, all people working there were exceptional in term of energy, professional, really all working as it is their own hotel. Mitsis so lucky to have them

Denmark- No information and service when checked in. No informations about where to storage luggage or anything. - All sunbeds is being reserved by guests in the morning by placed towels. So it impossible to get a sunbed near the pool. This does not belong in a five star hotel. To many guests in a small pool hotel. - To loud evening entertainment. Move it to near the beach. - Rooms are old and our room smelled bad. - Not enough variety in buffet - Not possible to get water bottles. And also the water you get served in restaurants is warm. - To few activities for small kids. - No later check out than 22.00. It’s a problem when you have late flights.
- The outdoor gym and the staff. - The employe “Olita”. For 5 days nobody served us at the sunbeds at the grass area. She was the first who served us and checked up every 20 minutes. also smiling. Thanks to Olita

New ZealandOur first room was very very bad. TV didn’t work, beds were like concrete, shower/bath was terrible- no shower door or curtain so the bathroom got flooded every-time we showered. The corridor was so noisy and the walls were very thing. The balcony was right next to the entertainment area which made it a noisy room. The food in general was terrible- lacking flavour and in most cases was old/out of date. Misinformed staff regarding renting scooters- sent us to a place to rent a scooter then told we couldn’t rent because we didn’t have an international licence… We wanted to check out early and refund our money but told we couldn’t even though when we spoke to booking.com they told us its up to the hotel. Therefore it is possible but maybe too much paper work. l
one staff member called Louisa, she was very helpful and friendly. The pools were nice but not as big as they looked ln the photos

United KingdomThe food at the hotel is very very poor and everyone was complaining about it. Each morning it’s sun bed wars, only enough sun beds for 1/3 of the hotel guests which are taken straight away before the pool even officially opens on a morning. The additional sun beds located around the garden area are so old and cheap they are awful. Hotel bar area has no atmosphere at all and again not comfortable to sit in. This is NOT a five star hotel, it’s 3 star.
The walk to the beach from the hotel pool area is easy.

United Kingdomwell where to start, certainly is not as you’d expect a 5 star hotel upon arrival we discovered the restaurants must be booked, you can only attend one of each restaurant and most were booked up for many days. Our biggest complaints were that the beds were not made, sheets simply folded on top for you to make yourself - certainly not acceptable for 5 star. We was also awoken many times, the second night we had a knock on the door at 10:30pm to inform us we have managed to get a booking for the Italian in two days time. The third night at 11:30pm the phone rang. and again on the fourth night, waking us up again and again. shampoo and body wash was never supplied we had to ask twice before we got any. The food, simply terrible. Buffet lots of food was cold, not many main options, some servers rude, plates not cleared. no spoons for desserts The Italian restaurant, I had order pasta which arrived cold, I’d informed them and they made another which was also cold. At this point I’d given up. seems like the food is pre prepped and then they do a bad attempt at reheating it. The Mexican restaurant, my daughter is somewhat of a fussy eater but was looking forward to having a fajita. She has asked to just have fajita with meat and cheese instead of with all the guacamole and sauces. she was told this is not possible as all the food is already pre prepared so it would be impossible to get something so simple. seems all the food is just reheated, badly reheated, not one meal eaten here was actually hot. also the general cleanliness was poor, in the corridors lots of bowls and plates full of food stacked up, even though the cleaners are there with the trolleys to clean, they just leave them. Some plates were left multiple days. very disappointing for 5 star. will not be returning or recommending

Israel- the rooms are really old and out dated. - the beds are extremely not comfortable - the Greek restaurant had bad service, but the rest of the restaurants were great.
- great amount of restaurants and bars. You always have drinks and food available - a lot of pools - the beach is sandy with a lot of space. - suitable for kids - they give you crib with bedding and everything needed for the baby

BelgiumCleaners comes 3 times/ day in the rooms and the last one is at 9:00 pm (while baby is sleeping…) sometimes for more suspens they open your door and no knocking even with the « don’t disturb » card on the door. All transat are reserved by single beach towels from morning till evening. 7 days and no day luck to have one. You must be very very patient to get your food, very long queue for only one lonely man who cooks thousands crepes per day. No very positive memories of five stars hotel service’s.
Kitchen’s staff and reception are lovely.

United KingdomLocation - very tourist area, not even Greek, it caters to Germans. The beach even has the German flag and the TVs in the room are only in German. There isn’t much to do in this area unless you like sitting down all day in restaurants or in the hotel. Beach - The beach is rundown, and no nice beach bars/clubs. Hotel rooms - defo not 5*! Doesn’t even have two sinks! Very old design, nothing modern about the rooms. The only thing thats good are the beds they are comfy. They do clean the rooms daily too. I would say the rooms are 2-3*. I had loads of mosquitos in my room and I’m quite sensitive to bites so it was a shame i got bitten. The air con is dated and I got a stuffy nose from sleeping with it on. Really poor hotel rooms, defo need to be renovated. Spa - there is no spa lol. This hotel really misled me! Their version of a “spa” is just a tiny room where you can get beauty treatments and massages. There is no sauna, steam room etc. I’d suggest the hotel take out the term “spa” in their name cause there isn’t one. Gym - there is no gym. They have an outdoor athletic bar and couple of weights and one bench chair lol. You cannot call that a gym! Again, so misled! Avoid this hotel if you want to go gym on your holiday. Food - food was average. They had nice greek food and desserts and the staff are really friendly and prompt. However, because this hotel caters to Germans, there’s a lot of pork. If you’re vegetarian, pescatarian, vegan or want halal food, I’d avoid the food area in this hotel and just stick to the salad bar. The bar area is nice, would be good if they cater more drinks to those who don’t drink alcohol. Entertainment - The games room is a disaster!! So run down, its literally a white box with some old dated games! For a 5* hotel I was expecting a mini arcade! Pool - pools are nice, sad thing is that it closes at 6pm. Plus, all guests like to wake up at 6am and throw their towels on the sun beds which is pretty pathetic.
very friendly staff, nice pools
