Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe hotel as amazing, it just needs a little modernising. It would be nice to have a hot breakfast, however we did just step out for this. A bin in the bedroom would be really helpful, 5 girls and no bin is very frustrating. We like to try and keep our room clean. Also a shower holder would be great, easier for when washing hair. A hook on the back of the bathroom door to hang our towels, or clothes.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The owner gave us loads of advice on areas to go to and areas that weren't.The pool was beautiful, first couple of days it felt like it was just ours. There is very basic breakfast, Greek yoghurt (my favourite), boiled eggs, ham/cheese, toast, tea/coffee. I had a gluten allergy and brought a few bits of my own with me. There are a lot of restaurants that have gluten free options. Our favourite was the kalamaka grill and nikos restaurant. There are no lifts in the property, so if you struggle with stairs I wouldn't recommend this one for you. Its about a 5 -10 min walk to the beach (turn left once you leave the hotel and go straight). You will find all the restaurants and touristy things down this road too. We had a small balcony which was beautiful. There is also a little bookshelf by the reception, of you forget your book. The room was spotless and all our rooms had a fridge, the cleaner comes round everyday. Loved the little dressing table and mirror. I would recommend bringing your own beach towel, as the hotel does not provide this. Overall a lovely relaxed stay away from the hustle and bustle.

Czech RepublicThe bathroom could use renovation, the shower is not very practical. Rooms are small but we did not spend lot of time inside so it was fine for us. The fridge was very loud.
Breakfast was very basic, every day the same selection, but it was fine :) it would be nice to have some fruits or vegetables, bigger selection of paistries and teas. Otherwise there was very nice terrace to eat! The garden is very nice, wonderful pool with sunbeds and sunshades available. The staff was wonderful and accomodates us regarding our check-in, that was so helpful! There is airconditioning and balcony. It is not directly close to the city or beach but it was nice walk to get there, not too long. Many restaurants and shops in the city, public transport was also close. It is a great selection regarding price/quality! The pool area was very calm and relaxing. If you are flexible on bathroom and not too picky for breakfast I would recommend. Thank you for a great stay.

United Arab EmiratesThe hotel , rooms and swimming pool are great, Alex and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Location of the hotel is good, not too far from Roda seafront, there are 2 restaurants and a bar close by and a small grocery shop for your supplies.

RomaniaThe manager was very rude and impolite with several guests. It was uncomfortable staying there because of her. She even yelled at some guests and threatened them that she will make them leave the hotel in the middle of the night when one of my friends asked for a pill and went to my room because she wasn’t feeling good. The room was so small that we had no room to pass by the bed after leaving our luggage on the floor. The furniture is old, the bed is uncomfortable and the bathroom is a bit disgusting.
The pool was the only thing nice about the property.

Croatia- The breakfast was disappointing (it is ok to have fewer choices but to have just one terrible salamy is another thing. Nothing was warm except coffee) - The prices in the pool bar were overpriced (coffee from the Nespresso capsule is 3,5€; they have a proper coffe machine but they are not using it) and you can't have your own drinks on the poolside. - The rooms are outdated! Very old furniture. The bed is so hard that we couldn't rest at all (we were thinking of sleeping in the lounge because they have comfy sofas there). - The Aircondition is working, but you can't set the fan speed, or flow direction. It's an outdated not serviced aircon so it's really loud and you can't sleep at night if you leave it on, and if you turn it off you can't breathe how hot it is. - The WiFi wasn't working at all, we didn't have any WiFi signal in our room, which was just above the reception. - The TV in the room had only 2 working channels which were in the native language (Greece) - Don't leave your beach stuff on the balcony because it will leave a mark on your clothes! - Be prepared for mosquitoes because the hotel isn't (we went to the market and bought the device for the mosquitoes and the tabs for 4€ which saved us)
The staff was helpful They had a pool that was not crowded. The room was cleaned every day. You can leave your luggage in a secure place and have a late checkout with a toilet and a shower.

RomaniaThe bathroom looks like a communist one. You can’t close the water completly so you have to listen the water in the shower. The breakfast was so poor and at 9:57 (it close at 10:00) the guest took my plates with food (just puted the food in the plate) and my coffee because i m not allowed to eat anymore at that hour. starting with 23:00 the was camping at the doors to see if you sleep and if you don’t she threat you have to search for other accomodation. There were 5 days full of stories. Atleast the pool was great.
It was clean, even if all the furniture and the aspect was very old.

GermanyUnfortunately the breakfast was very simple (no fruit, nothing but boiled eggs, no oats, etc) you could not hang up the shower head, furniture was pretty worn down and the walls were poorly soundproofed so you could hear every door closing in the hallway
The Manager and staff were always really nice, the pool and outdoor area were super charming and made it easy to relax. A 10min walk to the beach through beautiful Roda was easy and there were multiple great restaurants and shops.
