Booking.com sometimes does not pay for the room when you book, just confirms the booking. Since we were using a French eSIM card during our travels, it wasn't known to me that we had to pay the hotel directly and not assume the credit card we supplied covered for our stay. Interestingly, we booked two rooms at the same time at the hotel, one was covered by the card and the other was not. This led to needless confusion with the owners as we were leaving the island, which we settled - and none of that was their fault. I simply can't understand why Booking.com can let a card pay for one room next door to a room that can't be paid by the same card in the same hotel on the same day.

The room was clean and exactly as described. The location is perfect for exploring Kamares, walkable to and from the port even with baggage, with plenty of restaurants to choose from a short stroll away. Also, the beach is a short, easy walk down the short hill. The owner, Maria, is friendly and even provided one of her homemade orange cakes for us to enjoy.

Spotless rooms, very friendly and helpful owners. Great view, within walking distance from the famous Kamares beach, supermarkets and restaurants, bus stop car rentals. Good value for money. Definitely coming back!

The shower is a little small and awkward and the bed was really hard, I am not used to a hard mattress but I got used to it (with some daily stretches!)

Location, size and amenities were all perfect for my stay. My host Maria made me feel very welcome and her orange cake was EXCELLENT! The views were great even with partial ocean view and the location is seconds from everything you want and need in Kamares. Rooms are cleaned daily (lovely surprise) and the aircon is nice and powerful. Perfect stay

Maria was waiting for us with a big slice of her famous delicious orange cake, location is perfect, nice room had a lovely balcony with sea views , spotless clean, Maria came every day to tidy up, Maria was helpful and very kind, comfortable bed, close to everything, port, beaches,busstop, hikes,restaurants, Cafe and the old captain for happy hour😊

The shower/bathroom is little bit small and it was hard to use the shower without getting the floor all wet.

Sea view from the room was amazing! We really enjoyed spending time on the balcony just admiring the view. It is really close to the beach, you just basically take some stairs down and you are on the beach. Also enough restaurants nearby. Our host had left us some delicious cake in the fridge. If you are coming to Sifnos, I recommend staying in Kamares and in this cute little hotel :)

Lovely family run business. We were welcome by the Lady with some delicious orange cake. Just a few other rooms so it's very peaceful and quiet at night. Amazing view over the sea from the balcony. Super close to the beach and many good restaurants. Bus stop just around the corner to explore the island. We stayed there for our honeymoon and do not regret it !

The location was great, very central with easy access to port & public transport. The room was spacious, had a sea view & was very clean. Everything we needed and more for a short stay. Very good value for money.
