It is not something that I didn't like is more as a suggestion about the breakfast which is simple and perhaps having more options will be much better. I would have liked to have more vegetables for breakfast. Another thing that I didn't like and is not about the hotel itself, is that nearby is a night club and the music starts at 10pm till 6 am, so you couldn't really sleep overnight because the music is too loud.

Small hotel which is very close to the beach and to the main street with shops and restaurants. The breakfast is simple but ok-ish and perhaps more options will make the difference. The fresh squeezed orange juice was excellent. The staff is very friendly and nice, ready to help you whenever you have a question or a demand which I appreciate. I haven't tried the pool, but the jacuzzi in my room was excellent.

Everything was perfect from start to finish.

Honestly can’t speak highly enough of this little gem. Fantastic staff, fantastic breakfast freshly made each morning, such a gorgeous hotel. Loved staying here, beach is on your doorstep, close to the nice restaurants and bars. The room was massive, jacuzzi was a lovely added touch and so clean and lovely comfy huge bed. Hotel is spotless and the staff can’t do enough to make your stay perfect.

Wonderful friendly staff, everyone was so nice and couldn't do enough for you. Lovely people. Beautiful new hotel, really thoughtfully designed with a modern style. We stayed in the penthouse suite and it was absolutely lovely, very large room which was beautifully decorated, with a balcony all the way round and large jacuzzi which was an amazing way to spend the early evenings before going out for dinner. Breakfast was also really delicious, great selection and all the food was very fresh.

Stayed here for 3 nights and I have nothing but good things to say about the hotel. Great design, great location, great breakfast and great sound insulation in the rooms despite the fact that that club next door plays loud music until 5 am! I would come back for sure!

Everything about the property was fantastic - except the location of the beach party club next door. I could not get any sleep the first night. The staff were great and moved me to a quieter room due the rest of my stay, which was great.

In a nutshell, you MUST (not only consider) stay at Lotus Rise during your next trip to Crete. It’s centrally located but also far enough from the touristy noise at night to experience a calming break. This review is for the stay of my daughter and a friend, young adults. They experienced a lovely and cozy hotel. The location is great. 2 minutes walk from the beach yet in a more quiet back street that provided a more peaceful vibe. The staff, especially Chryssa and Sofoklis, were extremely friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was perfect to relax. We enjoyed our beautiful room with the jacuzzi in the balcony. Breakfast was just perfect, a small and sufficient buffet with great variety. The communication with the hotel from after the reservation and throughout our stay was perfect and they were attentive to our needs.

For us, a mature couple, it was too close to the doof doof music going to 4 and 5 in the morning. I think they would benefit from a staff member to clear the tables quicker at breakfast and reset as the lady in the kitchen was not coping.

Chris on reception is a real asset for this property. Sofraclese was very helpful.Magnus and the young girl were also very pleasant. The room was a good size. The bed a bit firm for me. Location good for beach, cafes, shops and bus stop. If you want to stay in amongst it all, you are steps away.

Hands down the best hotel I’ve ever stayed. Staffs are so friendly and always prompt to help. Location was perfect next to Palm beach and plenty of shops/food places around. We actually stayed in 2 different rooms as we extended our stay (9 days), one standard and one supreme and both very beautiful. The view from our balcony is also amazing (pool side). Hotel is always clean, absolutely nothing bad to say about the hotel. Would recommend and book again. Thank you Lotus❤️

The cleaning staff was not coming every day, they did not do the basic refills for shower gel or toilet paper unless they were specifically asked. When we highlighted this problem with the staff, they immediately gave us the refills.

Great accomodation, very close to the beach, shops and restaurants. The rooms are really nice with confortable beds. The pool was also nice. Breakfast was amazing, even though there is not as much variety of choice. The staff was also really friendly. I really reccommend this place for a relaxing holiday

The hotel was newly renovated and just opened up, so everything was nice, clean and a minimalistic style. Exactly like the pictures. The location of the hotel is super great - very close to the center and 2 minutes walking to the beach .The room was cleaned every day .The breakfast was very good , The staff was very friendly. I strongly recommend it.

Location. Being next door to an open air club who plays bad disco tunes, super loud. There is no escape, as it’s thumping. Sounds like a playlist on repeat not good quality beach or dance sounds. Plays all afternoon with a couple hours break, then straight through till 5am. No sleep at all the first night. Rooms are sound proofed but doesn’t really help. Night two we discovered playing brown noise through our speaker helped to cancel the sound.

The property is newly renovated, so has a contemporary feel. It does feel however like cuts have been made to the workmanship. For example the quality of the shower and sink is really nice but wobbly tap and crooked tiles. The wardrobe is a cheap Ikea open wood style. Looks quite nice but pretty useless for actual storage. The best thing about it are the staff who were exceptional! So friendly, chatty and helpful. They created a very warm and welcoming environment.
