Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

GermanyThere was no proper shower. Bathroom was very poor quality. Birds outside of the room in the corridor woke me up every morning around 5am. After arrival at the hotel, we were abandoned for many hours until check-in.
Very good food. Drinks on the beach. Massages at the spa.

NetherlandsThe hotel is due a renovation ASAP. Especially the rooms, bathrooms and sunbeds. Even though the hotel LOOKS like 5 stars it certainly isn't (maybe it was in the past?) Room: Rooms are very outdated. Some bits patched up here and there very lazy. Old decoration and furniture. Small very old TV. No kettle or iron in the room. Small issues with ants by the balcony door. Mattress not the best. Balcony has no shadow/umbrella. So spending the day there is impossible with the sun. We wanted to make use of it since it's private and gorgeous view, what a waste. Would be nice to have some sort of way to have some shadow and option to have sunbeds there too. There's certainly space of all that since it's so big. Bathroom is very old, needs to be completely re-done. All inclusive: Besides the very much needed renovation, they're also cheaping out on the services. Food is great but the drinks are very bad. Any juice or cocktail/mocktail seems to be made with instant powder juice or something. Beer wasn't great either. Water was only give in small cups and no bottles (this was horrible at the beach with all those stairs for just a tiny cup of water) Water also tasted very weird, we ended up buying bottled water (yay all inclusive...) Beach Bar and toilet are up quite a bit of steps. So besides the first drink in the morning at 11 which they bring to you, the rest of the day be prepared to go up those stairs a lot! 5 star hotel would take your other troughout the day, not just once. Sun beds are very uncomfortable at the beach as they're those mesh ones that are so old they are uneven. Plus some are broken. Service: Nice staff but seems that they don't know what they're doing half the time. Dinner time was a bit messy sometimes. There was a big line backed up at some point to enter the restaurant where they would ask where you want to sit and then look around for a while to see if they could fit you in.
This is an absolutely beautiful hotel in a gorgeous location BUT there's a lot of "buts". We got a free upgrade to a superior room with balcony and seaview and I'm so glad we did because a lesser room would've not been pleasant enough. Room: The room is huge and so is the balcony with the amazing view of the beach and sunset. Which compensated for the state of the room that needs an update. Fairly clean. Big bed but mattress isn't great. Woke up with a stiff back a couple nights, nothing too serious though. 2 big comfy couch chairs in the room w/coffee table. Coffee machine and pods. 2 chairs and a table in the balcony (no sunbeds or umbrella though) All inclusive: The food is good. I ate lots of lamb chops, duck, gyros, beef steaks, strogonoff, salmon, salads, sides and tzaziki for dinner for example. All the basics and more for breakfast too. We didn't have lunch by our own choice so can't speak to that. Loved getting as much ice cream as I wanted. I liked the Ice blue non alcoholic mocktail and drank lots of coke. My partner had lots of beer but it wasn't great, just fine. Facilities: Elevator/funicular is a huge plus and really cool. Plenty of sunbeds at the beach that are not too close to each other. The overall structure of the hotel I loved. Open and full of plants and flowers. Toilets in the shared facilites are nice and clean Beach: Beautiful! It's worth coming her mostly for the (kind of) private beach. Sandy and blue clear water. Service: Staff is very friendly and eager to help, but they're a bit unorganized.

United KingdomThe sewage smell around the hotel from time to time, which needs to be fixed and you will get 10 out of 10 points.
The nature and location are very beautiful there. It is ideal for families with children. The water in the sea was transparent and virgin clean. The food in the hotel restaurants is 5 stars!

United KingdomThe door kept locking us out on the first day and the AC was left unrepaired. We had requested 2 single beds but it wasn't accounted for. We split the beds on the first evening and managed. However that was fixed by the cleaner on the next day.

United StatesThe small town’s plumbing is being worked on but the resort’s is fine, though we did not see the rainy season. Just a heads up for planning.
Great spot to let the kids wander, swim, snack, read, chase cats, explore. Sand was soft, water warm in mid October, just a great escape and perfect spot for us all to work off our jet lag. Get breakfast and dinner included and go to Corfu town for a day to explore the old winding streets, history, shops, and food. Great way to start a vacation and let go. Assuming you’re comfortable climbing the stairs up and down the hill, they make the views and the breeze even more amazing. Small store on site has many of your vacation needs covered too.

GermanyThis Hotel is far away from a 5* experience. The bathrooms are in need of renovations. We had constantly a lot of bugs in the bathroom. The rooms are also old, the hotel itself would be max a 3* hotel. The pictures here on booking do not really match the reality.
The food was good, the stuff-friendly. The view is beautiful and the fact that the hotel has its own sun beds on the beach is a big plus.

United KingdomThe pull-out bed wasn't the most comfortable in the junior suite. I assume they're meant for privacy, but the trees kind of block the "panoramic" view from the balcony. If you're not all inclusive, we found very few options to find lunch options on-site between 11-6:30.
Staff was super friendly and helpful in getting us settled, booking taxis, etc. The dinner buffet was extensive and the food was surprisingly nice. The beach and free access to loungers/umbrellas was delightful. Perfect side of the island to enjoy the sunset - and conveniently located within an easy reach of old town.

United Kingdomwine un drinkable, eggs you need a chef who can cook egss.
Breakfast, alright, shame about the firied eggs over cooked by the chef, the scrambled egg over cooked, shame you don't have an omelette chef. We didn't have lunch and didn't think much of dinner, over cooked or not very pleasing to eye but it is mass catering. The wine was shocking, undrinkable.
