The parking near the hotel was full so we did have to park our vehicle up a hill in their upper lot. The elevator is very small so if you are travelling with a lot of luggage you will need to make multiple trips.

2 out of 3 couples received an upgraded sea view corner room - lovely views of the sea with a great balcony, very spacious room with comfortable bed. Snacks and drinks at the pool bar were very good. All staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool looked very nice however, the weather was not conducive to swimming when we were there.

Given that we were only staying for 5 hours as needed sleep after flight and prior to ferry I cheekily asked for top floor room with sea view if possible. It was delivered. Many thanks for meeting my request!

if you arrive late at airport Athens and need to go to the islands from Rafina the next day, this hotel is very convenient. You can stay until your departure around the swimming pool or in other seasons in their cosy lounch.

There really isn’t a beach, more like a patch of dirt. Even google maps showing a beach further down the road is non existent.

First impressions the Hotel looks a bit dated but it’s very typical of a European hotel - marble floors, dark wood, quirky furniture, ancient lift but it had character & we enjoyed our stay.

We stayed one night at the Hotel Mati July 2024 as a stop over flying from the UK to Athens on to Skiathos. The hotel arranged a taxi transfer that collected us & returned us the following day which was very easy & convenient. The hotel & room was very clean the room we had was comfortable for 3 of us, balcony on the side of the hotel with a view of the sea. Staff were all helpful & polite. The salt water pool & pool area are lovely, snacks & drinks available with a great view of the sea, you can walk to the small beach below. There a few restaurants close by but we choose to eat at the hotel because of the direct view of the sea from the deck - we enjoyed our meal of Greek salad, Souvlaki & house rose.

Floor of the room could of been cleaner. Not nice finding someone else hair on the floor.

Staff were lovely, lifeguard reminding everyone to shower before entering the pool. Great size room. Our bed was really comfortable, balcony with view. Walking distance restaurants. Next door had a basketball court

Nothing out of the ordinary. Reception and restaurant area a bit tacky for my taste and food so-so. Good for one two nights but I wouldn't stay for a full vacation.

Ok hotel with a small pool and nice terrace to have a drink and watch the sunset. Small beach also available, although I didn't try it.

It’s in the middle of nowhere. Breakfast selection was not great (food was okay). Prices at hotel bar/restaurant seemed to high.

It is a little far out from the center of athens (1 hr to acropolis) but we mainly came for the beach.

The view and facilities are phenomenal. The staff were also very kind and super accommodating.

Rooms a bit outdated and out of reach of public transportation . When we were there it was so windy, too windy to swim much.

Very friendly and helpful staff, relaxed atmosphere with beautiful, comfortable areas to enjoy. Rooms were clean and comfortable with a view of the pool and sea. There is a sweet movie theater, a few restaurants and a convenience store a few steps away.

The access to the sea looks completely unattended. It is full of rubbish and there were no benches.

The asking price of breakfast was 12 euros and did not buy it. For this price I could have lunch. In fact, breakfast was not worth this money.

On our last day, the waiter was a bit rude. However I wouldn’t discourage anyone from visiting this beautiful place because of one encounter. You should know though, this place is NOT in the city center.

The property is excellent. You are so close to the sea you can swim in it.

We couldn't have stayed longer. Arrived late in evening and left right after breakfast.

An excellent experience for first time in Greece and just arrived after 20+ hours of travel. Staff Reception was excellent and immediately felt great about booking there. Hotel breakfast was excellent.

You can understand that they have done renovation, but they haven’t even do some details like the floor in the corners. The windows general needs improvement in that, but Bad was very good and they have to take the shower curtain and put a glass to make it more modern.

Nice location with sea view and access to sea. Close to Marathonas and easy to reach airport by car.

Wifi hardly worked at all, neither in our room nor in the lobby. Very slow and patchy when it connected. Breakfast quality was poor.
