Everything The delicious breakfast, the quietness of the place, the pool, Stella and Nikos made us feel really welcome even as we just stayed 2 nights. The room had a great view and comfortable bed. We will definitely come again .

Sifnos is such a cool island and this property was quite the gem! The staff are so friendly and welcoming, they picked us up from the port and took us up to the hotel. Breakfast each morning was great and the room we were in had amazing views! The pool was a must after walking up the hill and being able to cool off easily. Only 5 min walk down to the main food area and beaches. Would recommend and stay again!

Hosts were so helpful, just lovely. They collected us from Port with suitcases- free. They treated us to homemade delicious chick pea soup on Sunday. Nice little extras.

Not really a dislike but for awareness, the accommodation is up a very steep hill (probably 40-50° incline) which may be problematic for those with mobility issues - the transfer is essential for luggage!

Beautiful location with sea views. Wonderful pool. Fantastic breakfast with greek yoghurt, fruit, cereals, bread, meats/cheese and cake - on Sundays there is also homemade chickpea soup. Complementary transfer to and from the port. Exceptional hospitality. Very clean.

Very comfortable spotless room with balcony. The breakfast was excellent and the host was very helpful and friendly. Although we didn't use the pool it was a beautiful area where we had breakfast each morning. Would definitely recommend!

The steep hill to the apartment was a killer, but worth it for the view and great location!

I absolutely loved my stay at the Margado, from start to finish. We were picked up from the port, which was a lovely touch, and even offered a lift back after our stay. The room was lovely and offered a nice partial sea view (as advertised), and we were treated to a lovely breakfast by the pool each day. Our host was wonderful and very accommodating. It was very useful for us to receive a trails map on arrival. I would 100% recommend the Margado!

Everything. The location is great but beware you need to be quite fit and mobile to reach it by foot from the beachfront. It was not a problem for us.

The owners Stella and Nikos were incredibly welcoming and couldn’t have been more helpful during our stay. The hotel was spotlessly clean, beautiful views down to the ocean and a short walk to good restaurants. The hotel’s pool area was lovely and private, and the daily breakfast was delicious and fresh.

We loved everything about this place! It was the highlight of our whole trip and the best accommodation so far, we didn't want to leave. It was so relaxing and chill, and the hosts are the nicest, most welcoming and friendly people alive. The breakfasts were so delicious, we looked forward to them everyday. Also, they have two cute dogs which is a bonus. Loved it, thank you :)

Stella and Nikos are wonderful hosts. The property is clean, beautifully landscaped, and all facilities are in good working order. It is up a bit of a steep hill but the sea views from the rooms/pool are worth it (Nikos picks you up/drops you off at the port so you’ll never need to haul your luggage). And phenomenal breakfast!

Wi-Fi is a bit slow, but that's probably normal in these islands.

Great view on Kamares Bay, room very clean, comfy bed, good breakfast. Position is great as it is 5 minutes walking from Kamares. Transport from the port to the Hotel also great as they pick you up with a van (the way from the port includes a uphill road). The host Stella is extremely kind and available (she also speaks French, Spanish and English fluently).

Although the property is not far from the seafront it is up on the hillside. Lovely views but you need to be reasonably fit to walk back up the hill.

Beautiful little oasis. Loved the pool area to relax after a day out sightseeing. Amazing choice for breakfast. Easy to walk down to the seafront ( very steep) where there are lots of great restaurants to choose from. Complementary transfers were much appreciated. Stella and her husband were very helpful and friendly. Excellent communication before we arrived.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful and charming. Everything is well cared for with love. The owners are lovely and kind. The breakfast is delicious and fresh! Homemade fruit preserves and yogurt to dream about! A truly magical escape!

Such a beautiful property nestled in the hill above the port. Nothing was too much trouble for our amazing host, who picked us up and dropped us back into town. Amazing room, view & great breakfast to start to day.

This isn’t so much a dislike but more of some advice. The hotel is up a steep hill. They offer a free transfer service from and to the port… make sure you take them up on it. Getting up the hill would be a struggle with luggage.

This hotel is wonderful. The pool is great, the bed very comfortable, and the owners are wonderful. We would definitely stay again.
