It truly felt like paradise on earth. Quiet, clean, peaceful. When we travel, we like to have a lot of freedom, and Maregold’s suites provided that. I had the possibility to go to all sides of the island without much trouble as the hotel is located bang in the centre - with one of the best beaches just a 15 minute walk away. Dionisis is one of the best hotel managers (owners) we’ve ever come across. He was incredibly charming, informative, and brought so much great energy to every conversation. Truly one of a kind. It was a modern, well built boutique, with great facilities. I wouldn’t have wanted to stay anywhere else.

Nothing at all

First of all, the views from our room were INCREDIBLE in the Berber suite. Such an incredible highlight in a more peaceful area of Mykonos. 5 min scooter ride distance to Elia beach but we walked. Accessible also to Mykonos town by bus during the day or taxi at night. Amenities were excellent for a young couple’s getaway. Everything looks brand new but in the traditional Greek style. Large balcony with charming seating to enjoy either the morning or night, wifi worked perfectly, bed was very comfortable, air conditioner had so many settings to choose from, we chose our own breakfast and it was brought to our room daily when we woke up, lounging areas are very cozy, and the list goes on. MOST IMPORTANTLY Dionissis was our highlight of our stay. He made us feel like we were friends or family during our trip from the moment he first greeted us to the moment he waved us goodbye when we left. We felt like we could ask him for help with anything and he always seemed genuinely interested in making our stay the best possible experience in Mykonos. He’s now set the benchmark for hospitality for the rest of our time in Europe. Thank you Dionissis

Our stay at Maregold Mykonos was absolutely amazing. The property was beautiful and the view was stunning. Dionisis was very hospitable and a huge help with booking transfers, understanding the bus network and making dinner reservations for us. He also had plenty of recommendations for us throughout our stay in Mykonos including places to go, things to do and where to eat.

You can’t fault the property!

Highly recommend this stunning hotel! We arrived to the most warming kind host who will go above and beyond to carter for your needs. Nothing was ever an issue and as he is also the owner, he shows a clear passion for what he does and to ensure his guests are totally cared for. The hotel itself is beautiful and pristine! Every detail has been considered at the property. The rooms were immaculate and smelt amazing, and the pool area was lovely with the most amazing views over the ocean. Breakfast was delivered fresh daily at a time of your choosing to enjoy on your private balcony. Due to the location of the hotel I would recommend hiring private transport, which the host will happily arrange for you if requested. The hotel is a 10 minute walk to a beautiful beach and there is a local bus, although we didn’t use it. We would definitely stay here again. It was a peaceful and wonderful stay.

To sum up how Maregold was: it feels like you are staying in a gorgeous room in a very luxury private villa with the best concierge service. Dionisis (owner of the hotel) leveled up our stay with his recommendations, help and many gestures. He was simply the best! Book without any hesitation and enjoy this little heaven in Mykonos. Only one thing to keep in mind, you need a vehicle/bike to move around the city if you are staying here. It’s only 20min to the town and also max 25-30 mins to the best beaches. (If you are not a beach hopper as we are, there is also a great beach reachable under 5 mins) If I come back to Mykonos, I would def stay here again. 10/10

I loved everything about the accommodation. We stayed in the Maquis suite and I think it was the best choice for us. The room was big and was cleaned daily, the smell in the room was just amazing. We had a pool on our private terrace, which was very nice and refreshing. The breakfast was served daily to our room, which was very nice because we could eat in our on intimacy. The surroundings were very nice and there was such a quiet, lovely zone. But what i loved and apreciated the most was the hospitality, warmth and kidness of our host, Dionisis. He was always available to help us, assist us, he recommended the best restaurants in the city and we ate the best greek foods there and the most atractive places to visit in Mykonos. It was much easier for us to discover Mykonos because of him.

If you don’t have a car, it is a little difficult to get around.the bus is good once you work the route out, you have to walk over 15 min to bus stop. There is no supermarket near buy. The rooms are on the small side, this made it difficult to navigate your luggage each day.

Hotel is amazing. So well designed and feels so relaxing just being around the hotel. Maria & staff were absolutely amazing, nothing better then the personal touch that they add to your stay at the hotel. They’re also highly accommodating to your needs. The food they offer is really nice and such good value for money too. Smokey the cat is a great addition too.
