We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

AustraliaTo get to the main part of town was close and in walking distance however it is up quite a few flights of stairs. No big deal though if you’re up for a walk and definitely not the host or accomodations fault.
Great Location to port and yialos beach. comfortable and fantastic host. would definitely recommend getting a car or motorbike for the day to explore other parts of the island as well.

We really enjoyed our holidays in Mare Blue. The hotel is very well located, close to the beach and the port area. Maria and her family were really sweet to us and even offered us some traditional greek food they had cooked. Ios chora is about 20' walking and you have to climb some stairs, but you can always take the bus, which has a nice frequency.

RomaniaIt can be really noisy at night if you have disrespectful neighbors as the doors are pretty loud and thin.
The location was pretty close to the port and situated in a pretty quiet are. Misses Dora was a really good host. She helped us with everything that we needed. We managed to overcome the language barrier with kindness. The cleanliness was spotless. The chora is about 15 minutes away if you take the stairs. You have to pace yourself 'cause it's a pretty steep walk. The bus station is about 3 minutes away.

AustraliaUnfortunately the shower was not good and water went everywhere and the bed was rock hard and there were no blankets only a sheet. You also heard everything outside your room as the walls were seen paper thin and the cleaning lady started at 8am one morning and could hear her.
Good location to the beach and port, staff were nice and friendly and let us check in early. We had a nice balcony that we could sit at in the afternoon.

IrelandMare blue is a cute little family run accommodation. Everyone was so nice and welcoming. Our stay at this place was great. It is walking distance from the port which was perfect when getting off the ferry, needing to do a shop, go to beach or to get a bite to eat. The beds at the beach were 7 euro for the day, there is loads of places to eat out at the port and many shops and services if needed. When going to Chora town or the other beaches the bus transport was easy to take and ran frequently. The place itself was so clean and had everything we needed. The balcony was huge and wonderful for watching the sunset. The room was clean, the bed was comfy and the shower was grand. The price of our stay was good value for money. There is loads to do in iOS so this location was perfect for our stay. Overall it was fantastic and I would definitely recommend

IrelandOnly small things such as: 1. The hair dryer would overheat and stops working for a good while (recommend bringing your own). 2. AC wasn't strong enough and the room gets warm (keep blinds closed during the day it really helps). 3. When the room got cleaned sometimes bugs would get into the room. Other than that the stay was perfect, and none of the above ruined or hindered the stay!
Location was fantastic, only a 5 minute walk away from port (no hills, so it was easy to bring luggage to and from the port). The owners always greeted us in the morning, very friendly, were always happy to help and offer up suggested places to go. The room was very nice, and was regularly cleaned. Sockets on both sides of the bed. Vanity table was very nice to have and a closet to hang up clothes. There was a balcony with tables and chairs right outside our room and can hang wet clothes and towels from wash line.
