I liked the position, the all inclusive service, the swimming poll, a very good price and services I spent 3 days very relaxing and having fun with the entertainment service. There was also a small gymnasium. L

Nothing. It’s not a massive hotel so there is only 1 bar area which is by the pool but it was nice! The food was also good, and always plentiful. There were different main dishes everyday, but alway chips, rice, pasta, salad available.

The staff were mostly friendly, the lady serving dinner drinks was never very happy though. We stayed in the area around the back which was secluded around a second pool, the room was amazing. We were put in another room at first which was a little tired, but the manager was so helpful and as they had a free room, they fixed it!

Nice family friendly hotel. The stuff were very helpful and nice. The food was delicious, nice salads and fresh fruits. The location was very convenient and close to the beach (10 min walking distance) We had a great time ! A 100% recommended!

The staff outside the reception desk were very unfriendly, sometimes even arrogant, they had a little more and would scold you if you wanted to order something from the bar! All drinks from the only pool bar were of very poor quality! A modest hotel for 4 stars!

Because they didn't have double rooms available, I got an apartment with 2 double beds!

Only negative were the normal towels on sun beds with no one on them meaning if you went out in the morning you had no chance of sitting by the pool.

This should not be classed as a all inclusive hotel!!! The alcoholic drinks were not good, you could only have beer, wine, ouzo or brandy upto 6.30pm where you then had a selection of drinks available until 11.30 then you had to pay for drinks The main barman was rude when he could be bothered to serve you !!!! (People complained about him) but he never changed He was more interested in paying guests 😡😡 This hotel is not as close to the beach as stated, be prepared for a walk

Rooms could do with an update but we're comfortable. The only real improvement I can suggest is designed smoking areas. Some days it was impossible to keep kids away from large amounts of smoke without leaving the pool area. This obviously is guest dependant but on bad days there was no place to take our kid without exposing him to smoke which meant we were forced to out the area which wasn't great. A few other families mentioned this while we were there too.

The hotel is unbelievably clean, really friendly staff, great pool for kids of all ages. Food available most of the day (pizza outside restaurant hours in the day an gyros in the evenings) and it's located on the main strip so you have shops to wander around. 5 min walk to a good beach, great transport links about 40 mins to Lindos an 50 to Rhodes. For what you pay this place will honestly be hard to beat.

Wi-fi could have been a little more stable, pool open till 19 which was OK but still could have been open a little longer. All inclusive drinks - only 6 to choose from and all made from sweet syrop-like ingridients so this could be upgraded.

Great hotel with all inclusive option. Between standard meals there was pizza by the pool and in the night gyros/pita which was really great. Ice cream during the day also available. Pool was deep which is not so common. Food was OK, you can always find something. May have been a little more options with fruit. Sweets even if they looked different they tasted almost the same - if you like a sugar boost then it will be OK:) Staff wonderful!

The room was a small, the beds barely fit. The coffee is made from concentrate and not whole beans. This is a minor issue.

The staff was very friendly. The pool was large and very clean. The location was very close to the beach, 500m, and in the center of the town. The food was good. The pizza and kabab stand was excellent, which is open outside of the normal meal hours.

Good hotel, great location, a lot of shop and restaurants around. So tasty meal, clean rooms, friendly staff, nice garden. Just one moments, but its not vine of hotel, more advice to other travellers that there is no money exchange(dollars into euro) in city or banks, we spent a lot of time to find where to change and did not find (so in next my trip i will think about it before)

-The hotel is old and one should not set one's expectations too high, we would grade it 3 stars. -If you are used to all inclusive, you have to get used to the fact that there is a time limit on the various things, e.g. no ice cream after 5 p.m. -There is mostly only 1 employee in the various bars, snacks and drinks, it can give waiting time

-Centrally located -Close to bars, shopping and restaurants -Nice pools and beach close by -Nice rooms with balcony and aircondition -Playground for kids -Good solid food -Helpful og hardworking staff -Snacks, Pizza in the afternoon and Pita Gyros/Fries in the evening

sunbeds very uncomfortable we feel should have a smoking area around the pool area. It's not very nice when you are not smoker to have people sunbathing all around you smoking and dirty ashtrays around you. In a lot of hotels now there are designated smoking areas for smokers.

Changing area to use if leaving on a late flight - could do with better shower, towels, air con and hairdryer - this would be a nice upgrade.

Everything was great. The hotel manager took care of us, when we arrived in the morning. He even offered us to have breakfast, although we were supposed to arrive at 2 pm. That was very kind. We liked the hotel and always felt comfortable and well. When we needed some help or advice, they always were there for us. We really appreciate that. So, if you are looking for a hotel on Rhodes. go for Marathon Hotel. You won´t regret it :) Best regards :)

Not a huge variety of food after a couple of days and the cocktails in the all-inclusive offer are very weak syrupy drinks. The room was not very nice (we booked a double room which had two single beds pushed together and a bunk bed in the room too despite there only being two of us staying). All the rooms are around the pool area which has a bar that played very loud music until late at night which might not suit everyone.

Very affordable for all-inclusive, the pool area was nice and very close to the beach and small town with shops and restaurants.
