The location was perfect as it was in the old town, near the port and the shops restaurants. The room was large and spotlessly clean with a beautiful terrace which made it seem very spacious. Our room was split level and this made the room feel very comfortable for my family. The reception was staffed throughout the day and we asked for many recommendations as we had no plan in mind before we came. We were always given the best suggestions for restaurants and beaches that turned out to be perfect for us and we were able to enjoy a holiday that was spontaneous and relaxing. The reception girls were incredible - they were warm and friendly and very genuine and this gave us the best impression when we arrived and every time we passed through reception. They were a mine of information and exceedingly helpful to us. We felt very happy at this accommodation. The cleaning lady was also exceptional and friendly - she has been there 16 years and the rooms were spotless!

Loved our stay here at The Mosaic Venetian. The staff are incredibly helpful and warm, we will definitely return to this hotel on our next visit to Chania.

It is an excellent location, in the heart of the old town, but a quiet place. It is very close to the port and to a lot of good restaurants. The staff is very helpful and charming. The best in our room was a great terrace with a view of the city and mountains.

There are stairs to the rooms and no elevator (understandable given the historic nature of the property).

The location is excellent right by the harbour! It is a small cute boutique hotel. The facilities were very clean and our rooms comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helped us out with queries for the car rental.

Nothing! No lift but only 3 stairs to the top floor so no problem for most people.

What a great hotel this is! The staff are all fantastic and willing to help and advise with everything. I looked forward to my friendly chats with my Chryssa each morning, where she would help us plan our day. She even organised our rental car with a fantastic, great value company. The cleaning lady was also lovely and did a fantastic job. We had the large room at the back of the hotel with a large private terrace (mountain/ town views not harbour - but big with sun loungers and coffee table with chairs) - it was amazing and perfect for a family as split level. The room and terrace are designed perfectly - someone has taken great care with the decor it’s flawless and high quality, very modern. We loved the room it was big, quiet, cool and we slept well. The bathroom was modern and spotless. The location is perfect - so many restaurants and shops! A beach 10 mins walk away. If heading to Chania I highly recommend this hotel - it’s really great value for money and they really care about their guests.

The location was excellent. The staff were amazing - Michaela and Chrissa were so generous with their time, providing suggestions on what to do, where to eat. The room itself was very spacious and clean and we loved the character of the old building. Highly recommend this property.

I have traveled a lot around the world and it’s difficult to find such an AMAZING hotel, it was SUPER CLEAN (the Housekeeper Made am amazing job), SUPER FRIENDLY (already by the Check In Chrisa was amazing), go to this hotel and you will not reggret it.

Honestly, nothing.

Location was perfect - easy walk from bus you can get from airport. Right on the harbor makes it easy to pop in and out during the day. Staff very helpful, loved the building, and our view! Best shower we had on our trip - they even had conditioner. Excellent breakfast deals they can set you up with. Particularly enjoyed the Cretan breakfast at the restaurant on the corner.

the breakfast arrangement was not made clear, and for such a lovely hotel, having breakfast in our room would have been lovely. No cars are allowed in the old city center, and this was not made clear-- so getting our heavy suitcases to the hotel was challenging. This should be made more clear to guests. That said, Micaela helped us, and heroically got our bags to our beautiful room.

Micaela welcomed us so graciously-- the location was perfect-- central in the old city and also miraculously quiet! We had a beautiful view of the harbor.

Only has stairs to go to your room and I was on the 3rd floor. Although my bed looked freshly made, a condom wrapper fell out of the mattress as I was about to get under the blankets. I told the receptionist the next morning and she made sure everything was redone when I returned.

Very cute, charming property and the staff is super friendly and makes you feel welcomed. I liked that there were only a few people staying in the building.
