Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SlovakiaWe had an amazing stay. Ladies at the reception are so helpfull and it was our pleasure to have small chats with them. Always enjoy speeking with locals. Hotel has beautiful garden where you can enjoy breakfast and the pool wich is nice variant to the beaches when you are tired to drive somewhere on the island. It's 5 minutes walk from the port and the shops and restaurant. Hotel has its private parking spots.

Friendly,helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble. Great buffet breakfast with hot and cold food, fresh fruit . Beautiful very clean pool, lots of loungers and umbrellas. Lovely gardens . Rooms were on the small side but perfectly adequate and spotlessly clean.

Canada-Our bathroom had seen better days and was a bit small in my opinion, but nothing particularly worrisome. Worked fine and this is a very minor grievance, but was maybe not as comfortable as I would have hoped.
-Facilities and services offered were excellent. Room service, all you can eat breakfast, elevator, swimming pool, and a lounge off the top of my head. -Staircase leading to the entrance was extremely accessible, as there was a ramp next to it. As someone carrying heavy luggage, I really appreciated it and if I was someone with reduced mobility, I’m sure I would have appreciated it even more. -Location is excellent; 5-minute walk to the port where all the action happens and between 5 and 10 to the bus station (though the bus hours can get w bit inconvenient) -Staff, and especially the owner Mary, were extremely kind and provided excellent hospitality. More than once they went above and beyond for our comfort and convenience.

Maria Elena speaks English, takes the time to explain everything, shows the map of Milos, gives ideas of where to go, how to get around. I enjoyed my stay so much I extended it mainly because of how welcoming it felt in Liogerma.

This place is legit, especially if you're a solo traveler like myself. The shower was hot every time. Small but nice balcony with a place to hang your wet clothes after the beach. Located in a quiet cove, yet still within walking distance to all the restaurants and bars along the port. They had a great breakfast set-up every morning in which you can choose to eat inside or outside in one of the several patios. The nicest touch is the many rocks they have collected for the guests to write their memories on right outside amongst the flowers and shrubs. This place is 5 stars for the low price. Highly recommended!

The location is good, in a quiet area (we spoke to people who were near bars that were open till 4am) with good outdoor seating options. There is a pool which we didn't see in many other hotels. We were there late May so only used it once but I it would be great in summer. The staff were friendly and helpful and the buffet breakfast was great
