The views from the hotel were amazing and it was lovely watching the sunsets and having breakfast with the amazing views however for us it was a little bit of a walk to the main area

Breakfast and view was excellent. We had a a few issues with the Bathroom 1 you had to wait over 5 min to 10 for the shower to be hot. 2. The shower would get the entire bathroom soaked in water. Good thing they gave us so many towel to use in the room and they would clean and restock everything every day. I appreciate the service .

The bed sheets were very uncomfortable. We paid extra for a private pool but it was too cold to use, should have got a hot tub as it was off season.

Beautiful property with authentic rock stairs. Our cave room was unique. The view was awesome from our room and from the breakfast balcony. The staff was wonderful.

Doesn’t have privacy in the hot tub area, maybe they should think about adding some retractable curtains in case you don’t want everyone seeing you there. Also there is no door in the toilet room there is one to get to the shower/toilet area but it is glass!

The bathroom is a little rough around the edges. Insufficient lighting with tinted shower glass and drainage issue had us use extra towels to funnel the overflowing shower to the secondary drain, but no deal breaker.

The view was outstanding, soundproofing was great, and the included breakfast menu was the best of our whole trip to greece. The staff was super nice, helpful, and accommodating. 15-20min scenic walk through the cliffy housing to Fira for shopping, services, and many restaurants to try.

The service was some what slow which seems to be the norm on the island. We had an issue where our order was mixed up and delayed but the staff were quick to try and fix the problem. My only criticism was that the hotel lobby was closed after midnight and we had to wait for a taxi at 3 am to the airport sitting outside on the stairs instead of the lobby.

we rented the honey moon suite which had a cave like ceiling and stairs leading down bath room and the showers and stairs leading up to a private balcony with the hot tub. The view was absolutely amazing and the extra privacy was a great added bonus. The Buddha Bar which was part of the hotel was great and had great music and served at the location where breakfast was served daily. The breakfast was amazing with the various choices available. The hotel staff were great especially Constantinos who was always there to help and make reservations. His suggestions of places to visit were spot on and we really appreciated his help in making restaurant reservations at Dimitri's restaurant at Ammoudi bay for sunset dinner.

There was a wedding in the hotel the night we arrived and we were allowed to walk into the hotel or use the restaurant or bar. We expressed our disappointment and the manager sent us a bottle of wine and round of drinks. The room wasn’t very clean when we arrived so we had to wipe it down and ask them to empty the trash. :( There is a bit of a sewer smell as well. With all of that said, the staff were very nice and the view was breathtaking and the location was perfect. The view and breakfast were the best part. I visited four islands and the view at the hotel and cool Buddha bar music was the favorite part of our trip.

The location is fantastic! We got a taxi from the airport (€35) & then pretty much walked everywhere. The view is breathtaking, amazing sunset with a cocktail in the comfort of the Buddha Bar terrace! Breakfast is delicious. Staff super nice, in particular Kosta at reception. So many bars, restaurants, shops within walking distance. We hiked to Olia - 2.5 hours away to watch sunset there. Hike was class, sunset v overcrowded / overrated - Budha Bar was better!! Great music by the pool on v comfy sun loungers. Supermarket on the doorstep for any little bits you might need. All v convenient. I would highly recommend!

We booked Junior Suite with Jacuzzi. When we checked in , we were told that our stay got upgraded to Honeymoon Suite . However , the room was too small and we knew we did not get anything near to what we actually booked . After immense disappointment, they moved us to a private suite villa which was amazing .

Safe in the room was lockef. Hotel never resolves it. Room did not have a closet or drawers for our things. Several arrangements made with George (concierge) were not met, as George was no longer with the hotel when we checked in. The new concierge Kostas did not do much for us, other than day that he was sorry. For the price paid there is plenty of opportunities to improvements. Room very noisy in the morning with the water trucks lida. The rooms in the Back, below the restaurant seem to be way better.

There was some unfinished construction right underneath the room so it didn’t have a 5 star view but looking past that it was still beautiful. The restaurant and bar was a little pricey so we only had the breakfast there. Overall, not a 5 star hotel but it was good enough for what we were looking for in our trip.

The location of the hotel and the room (2 rooms and 1 1/2 bathrooms) we had were amazing! The shower had the best water pressure and heat of anywhere I’ve ever been. The sunset view from the hot tub was one of the best as well. The pool upstairs was next to the restaurant and was beautiful and refreshing, however it closes right before dinner starts but we didn’t even really go at that time anyways. The concierge was very helpful with anything we needed!! All the staff was really great here!

The room was not what was expected as the photos from Booking.com...we felt somewhat mislead. La Maltese has various propeties and depending on the room you may have different views & room styles. We selected the double room with shared pool. The shared pool is facing inward with a city view (not ocean view), therefore people walking the streets can see you. We eventually adapted and enjoyed the shared pool and its cool water temperature as it was a lovely refresher from the hot day. The "fancy looking pool" in some of the photos is located at the Buddha Bar restaurant. You can use it however there are no sun loungers available and people will be there all day dressed up & enjoying lunch or drinks. The atmosphere is not really accommodating to the pool. Literally NO ONE is there swimming. Additionally, throughout the day the toilet "gurggles" and when this happens the most awful foul smell seeps out of the toilet and stinks up the room. There is a sewage truck visits the property daily so I can only assume that they are emptying waste. However, this smell happens at various points throughout the day.

The La Maltese rooms we stayed in were connected to the Buddha Bar restaurant and the view from the Buddha Bar was absolutely stunning! To have breakfast there every morning was an absolute dream. We also enjoyed two amazing & delish dinners there (very pricey but well worth the sunset view). The room was cozy, comfortable, and the service from the staff was amazing.

The rooms are not 5 star like stated same goes for the staff and breakfast. Major lack of facilities in the room, 1 tiny mirror and no hairdryer. We booked a honeymoon suite which had no privacy and dated furnishings. cannot state enough that the photos are nothing like in person the rooms are actually a lot smaller than they appear also.

The view was 5 star.

Very basic for a honeymoon suite and the price we paid for it. The hot tub was a blow up one that kept breaking down. The floors were very slippery with no hand rails for the steps or slip proof mats. There was an iron but no ironing board. No robes as mentioned on the website and you don’t eat breakfast where you want.

My room was advertised as an inland view which meant it was situated next to the road/car park, very noisy with a constant smell of petrol/diesel from the likes of the twice daily tanker that pumped fluid from the buildings. The advertised Satellite TV was 4 channels, fluffy slippers and dressing gowns were not supplied, in addition the toilet did not have a door to the dressing area!! The website stated "Wellness" the Manger informed me this has not been available for some time. There was NO flexibility with breakfast it was set, very repetitive, other options from the menu were available but at full cost. (scrambled eggs on one toast 12 euros)

View was exceptional, staff were pleasant and helpful, accommodation very clean.
