Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta, Iceland, Australia, Greece, Brazil and North Carolina. For properties in these regions, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SwitzerlandMaybe they could have some water bottles or a fountain in the gym area. The gym is quite small but the outside gym is interesting. The TV in our room was mounted on the side wall, interesting choice which made it hard to watch - but we didn't watch TV anyway because the rest of the hotel was so awesome.
Great hotel, everything set up for relaxation. Straightforward luxury - beach front, great pools, excellent restaurants, easy parking, top quality, friendly and professional staff. Spa services also very good. We loved it. WIFI everywhere - even on the beach. Highly recommend this place. Go and enjoy.

United KingdomAlcohol menu is extremely limited, would rate it a 3 out of 10. Very disappointed, we walked most days to hotel nema for Cocktails. Also didn't understand how you can be topless at the main pool beside the restaurant yet your not allowed to dine breakfast with shorts and a bikini top? At lest 4 women all had tops off in full view infront of restaurant but I was told to go put a top over my bikini top. We both got a lovely massage very relaxing, any previous ones I've had post treatment you get a cool down drink/ ice and a relaxing room prior to departure it felt once the massage was over that was it just get dressed then you head on your way (we noticed one water despenser but no cups). Overall we loved our stay just a few tweaks needed, especially only opened under 2 months it's a brilliant job so far!
Swim up pool room was lovely! food and friendly staff. Young girl working at main pool was the sweetest girl! Always over soon as you hit the buzzer and remembers the little things (room number, what you like) loved her!

SerbiaAmazing Experience! 10/10 We recently spent ten unforgettable nights at this hotel, and we can’t praise it enough! The rooms are exactly as shown in the pictures—perfectly clean, modern, and comfortable. Every detail was carefully thought out to ensure a luxurious stay. But what truly makes this hotel stand out is the staff. They are the best I have ever encountered, always going above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of. Their friendliness and professionalism made our stay even more enjoyable. The beach is absolutely perfect, with crystal-clear waters and soft sand, though there are some big rocks, so it might be better to wear sea shoes. It felt like a private paradise. The food at all five restaurants was exceptional—each one offering perfectly prepared and varied dishes that catered to all tastes. Everything in the hotel is brand new, which added to the overall sense of luxury. The pool area is fantastic as well, providing a perfect spot to relax. The hotel truly deserves its five-star rating. If I had to mention one downside, it would be that you have to pay extra for the sauna and indoor pool. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect getaway. We can’t wait to come back!

UkraineBrand new beautiful hotel in Crete. We liked absolutely everything. I would especially like to mention the work of the manager Katerina. She was always very responsive, helpful and ready to answer all our questions. A wonderful person who knows how to do her job and care about the guests of the hotel.

BelgiumThe booking rating is misleading with only 8,5. This is probably based on the former hotel. The reopened hotel deserves a 10!
The hotel re-opened at the beginning of July 2024. The modern look and feel is excellent, the pool and private beach have the best loungers ever, there's pool service with national and international drinks! The location is quiet and connected with a beach road. It's only 4-5K from Chersonissos. I enjoyed one of the best sunsets ever. What I really appreciated was the quality of the food; 5 restaurants with a la carte dinner at a very high standard; the fish was fresh and very tasty combined with healthy legumes, the meat restaurant offered a wide range of steaks (Tommahawk, filet pure,...), every restaurant has a wine list,... and all of this is included in the all inclusive package. The bar offers a wide variety of national and international drinks (not 1 kind of whisky but a choice of Irish, Scottish brands,... my favorite Grappa Nonino, cognacs, ...). I travel frequently but this kind of quality and choice is very rare, especially when drinks and food are all inclusive! I want to conclude with their sustainability vision; one of their strategies is to hire only local people which I endorse; although some of them sometimes need an extra minute to understand our (non-native) English or German, they bring joy with their smiles and friendliness; especially Barbara and Afrodite, you are the top of the top!

Czech RepublicThere is a nice beach but swimming in the sea is not comfortable. There are big rocks in the water, you need shoes because of sea urchins. And during our stay it was windy (which is common in Crete), waves and mostly red flag which meant “no swimming”. But in this case the hotel has nice pools where you can swim and spend your time.
Hotel is very nice. Room was great, very clean - the cleaning ladies did their job amazingly. Once we had a small problem with the toilet and it was solved immediately. The staff is super nice in all areas - main restaurant, cleaning ladies, repairman, reception desk, spa. All inclusive was standard as everywhere else, food was ok, you always found something you liked. Beach towels can be changes every second day. The spa was great as well.

GreeceI would have liked a cushion on my dining chair, a softer pillow option, and some different choices on the buffet. The salad was repetitive, a few changes but basically the same ingredients.
The trip was amazing value for money and the staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The rooms were very comfortable, tho a bit dated. There is a major refurbishment planned for early 2024. My negative comments are really nitpicking, we had a most enjoyable stay.

Czech RepublicThere are rocks at the Seaside, may cause trouble for families with Kids. Might need to use watter boots in some areas.
Very nice Pool area, comfortable Sun beds both at the Pool and Beach - enough for all guests. Older but clean and cosy rooms with a nice tetrace. Free parking lot. Very good food selection, lots of fresh vegetables, two Restaurants with a nice a la carte menu. Friendly and caring staff. Good value for Service and money. We have enjoyed our vacation. Highly recommended! Efharisto 😉

SwitzerlandThe room was relatively spacious but sadly, the "double bed" we had asked for as a couple (for our honeymoon), were just two individual beds pushed together which easily moved and left a hole in the middle. The mattresses also were of very poor quality and one felt the spring-feathers in ones back. There also was a mosquito problem the first nights (the balcony door was left open by housekeeping every day) until we had eradicated all and were told about an "anti mosquito" lamp by the reception to help mitigate the issue.
The staff (Mike, Anna, Zina, Yannis and "mister tattoo") were extremely friendly, funny and helpful at the restaurants and bars. There are two restaurants at the resort (Italian and Kretan) which are just next to the main buffet restaurant. However, these restaurants are closed Tuesdays and Sundays, but it's possible to book a table multiple times if there are tables available (which was never an issue). The buffet has lots of salad to offer and there is also a grill happening for lunch and dinner with fish, gyros, chicken, pork or kebap. The desert/sweets were excellent and the normal dishes were also nice and diverse. The staff was always attentive and offered white, red and rose wine and softdrinks. It's nice that the resort is not super huge so one is familiar with the other guests faces. It's easy and fast to get to the beach/pool which is only separated by a narrow promenade. There also were no people trying to sell goods, tours or souvenirs at the beach or along the promenade which made the whole experience very relaxing. The resort offered high quality evening entertainment (cover band with guitar and keyboard playing hits, "boy band" singing hits of the 60s/70s and an acrobatic performance) but these were only every 2nd/3rd night and nothing happening on Friday or Saturday as we would have expected.

United KingdomThe fact that I had to tell them to clean my room every day and on the first night the pillow smell like hasn’t been changed so I had to sleep with no pillows because it was too late in the evening to call for room service or to cool for the cleaners to come and change it. Inside my toilet, it wasn’t clean properly. I could see skidmarks inside it. I’m very upset for such a price of a hotel and facilities that wasn’t what it was given on the website and what the description was.
I like that it was on the beach, but apart from that, the facilities and the property wasn’t fully done in my bathroom and bedroom stuff was not in the correct places

IsraelWe booked just one night in the hotel and we are lucky that we booked just one :) We changed 3 rooms! The AC in the first room was not working, and they asked to give us a fan to the room instead of chabging the room, but we didn’t accept that and we moved to second room, the room had a bad smell from the bathroom, we can’t stay there and struggel the bad smell, we asked again to change room, we get a third room, and finaly with working AC, but unfortunatly while i was sleeping the AC start dropping water in side the room on my face and i wake up afraid and upset, i didn’t sleep that night! It was a very bad night for us! I will not forget this bad experience ! In addition the third room was not clean, there was a lot of hair on the floor and you can feel sand on ur feet while stepping on the floor. In addition we booked all inclusive meals we arrived around 16:00 and there was nothing to eat just drinks. and we asked about food and they said we need to wait for dinner at 18:30. In addition glass plates and forks in the dining areas and bars were extremely dirty, i changed the fork 3 times till i get a clean one! Value for money (average quality of the establishment) The staff were really not pleasant, answered badly and were not helpful at all. The rooms are not really up to date, expensive for the quality of the facilities that are getting old
