Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomA beautiful property with the most stunning bottom of the garden that overlooks the beach and sea. Our whole stay was wonderful and the owner was so kind and attentive to anything we needed before we went and while we were there. We are grateful to have stayed somewhere so lovely whilst visiting Rhodes.

SwitzerlandAll was perfect. Important to notice: we have visited with a small child which still uses the trolley. There are few restaurants in the area, however there are no pavements, so sometimes you will need to walk with the trolley on the street. This is not something against the location, can be easily solved by having a car.
The villa and the garden are wonderful! You spend the whole day on ground floor (air conditioned), bath in the swimming pool, lay down on benches in the shadow next to the sea or simply go to the beach directly from the property. Perfect vacation. You are occasionally visited by birds, cicadas, sparrows, lizards and cats. The garden offer both, access to outdoor area and privacy. In the neighboring Pefkos we have discovered some amazing restaurants with the best Greek food (Tambakio, Karma). Highly recommended!

United KingdomStayed in villa for 8 but dining tables inside and out only sat 6. However when we mentioned this to the host she immediately got us 2 extra chairs. Travelled with 4 teenagers and they would’ve loved a couple of paddle boards - but I’m being picky now.
Villa right on the beach, sitting area at bottom of garden perfect overlooking the sea. Villa Very clean and well supplied. Host fabulous - left food in fridge on first day then brought us dinner half way through stay, helped book taxi etc. Good location - easy walking distance in both directions to restaurants.

United KingdomThere isn't anything not to like, a rental car would be a must if you wish to explore the island, but the bus stop is a 5 minute walk and only €2 pp to lindos town or lardos or pefkos, all have amazing restaurants in.
The villa was absolutely beautiful, and the grounds and the inside of both villas were exceptional. There is a beautiful restaurant a 10 minute walk from the villa with 2 mini markets, pefkos town is a 15 to 20 minute walk with again, great restaurants, the owner was extremely helpful, the grounds keepers are very pleasant too, my party rented both villas and the best of times, the area is very peaceful too.

United KingdomThere was a building site directly next door to our villa which wasn’t nice to look at. Also there was some drainage issue in our garden which caused the grass to be extremely wet at all times. The stairs inside the Villa weren’t child friendly for our 2 year old.
Amazing, friendly host and the location was perfect.

United KingdomLovely villa in a great location on the beach and gorgeous gardens! A great bonus is the lovely beach bar just a 2 min walk down the beach, there is also a little shop at the neighbouring hotel which came in handy! Owner is lovely, very accommodating and helpful throughout our stay and left the fridge well stocked when we arrived as well as providing a lovely meal for all of us one night, would definitely recommend! :)

United KingdomThere wasn’t anything we didn’t like about the property.
As a family of 12, 7 of them children it was just perfect. the 2 separate villas meant the little ones could sleep during the day without the older ones having to be quiet. the villas were beautiful, spacious and clean, they had everything you might need. The gardens are beautiful, so much room for the kids to run around and play and the beach front location was fantastic. Lovely sized pool with steps and a shallow end which was great for the 2/4 year old to potter around in supervised. 2 gates at the bottom of the garden and you are on the beach. (I would recommend taking beach/sand shoes) the bay is nice and quiet with a lovely cocktail bar just 2 minutes walk along the beach. We would definitely return to villa Kivotos, the owners are lovely and couldn’t do enough to help us enjoy our stay, from organising us transport to and from a wedding to providing us with pizzas and mousakka

RomaniaAll was totally super! The best house and garden from all Rodos!
We felt in love of this property from the photos and in reality was totally awesome. We like the house, the kitchen equipped with all you need in order to prepare meals for you and also with nice to have things: coffee, oil, condiments, pasta, the pool was a big hit, the garden with the grass, with a lot is sun beds, and other chairs to relax, the table for ping pong, the beach is wonderful , the view of the sea during the day and night - in front of the house the beach is very nice mainly for snorkeling but on the right is a beach with clear water and sand also for small children to enjoy. The owner is great lady, very warm and responsive to our request and also we received food for breakfast, beers, water, fruits, snacks, another time she came with a delicious pizza and we left we received a cute gift!

LatviaAdamantia is a very attentive host, who supplies with everything You need- starting with information about the island and even a home- made and very delicious picca made especially for the guests. Villa is very good situated with its straight access to the beach. From the other side there is an impressive mountain. what we appreciated the most is an eye- catching sunbathing place in front of the sea under the pine trees. Villa and the swimming pool is clean. It has everything You need during even a long stay. there is even a small church and a bell. We would visit this beautiful place again. I highly recommend this villa.

United KingdomAdamantia Was fantastic throughout our stay and gave us tips of where to visit and some local restaurants to try. The photos really don’t do this villa justice. Location is amazing, right on the beach. Within walking distance of some lovely restaurants. We had all we needed to relax at the villa, with a large Pool and different areas around the garden to sit and soak up the sun We had little treats from our host - Breakfast in the fridge with wine, beers and juices on our arrival then pizza and chocolate pancakes delivered in the week. We hired a car but you don’t need to as a local bus stops just along the road to take you into Lindos or you can easily order a taxi. We loved Lindos of an evening. We would love to return next year to explore the area some more and would not hesitate in recommending you come and stay at Villa Kivotos.

NetherlandsPerhaps we should have done more thorough research beforehand, but it became obvious that we needed to rent a car to get to supermarkets, attractions and main beaches, which we hadn't accounted for. This is something for families to keep in mind when budgeting for a holiday on this part of the island. We felt that the kitchen was not quite equipped with enough drinking glasses and a lot of the crockery was chipped. There were no additional rubbish bags for us to take out the rubbish daily (also no additional bathroom bin-bags), so we bought our own. The dishwasher's top shelf was not working properly and one had to manipulate the bracket to slide it in. The Wi-Fi was not great and the TV often lost signal (which happened a lot at crucial moments while we were watching the Olympics). The property is wedged between two resorts/hotels and on two of the days during our 7 day stay, the one resort ran a massive diesel generator for over 4 hours during the day, which was extremely unpleasant. We also did not like that the garden maintenance took place while we were relaxing around the pool - this should rather be planned in between guest stays or at the very least let guests know well beforehand so that they don't have to be at the property while this is taking place. Lawn mowing and weed-eating machines with two gardeners in the space felt intrusive and uncomfortable. While we appreciate the gesture of offering a cleaning service, a linen change or a towel change, this is also not necessary - we would have preferred to just wash the towels ourselves if we felt it needed to be washed. We felt obliged to accept the cleaning service, but that, too, felt intrusive and uncomfortable while we were at the property.
We loved having a pool and the beautiful garden and beach access. The area overlooking the beach under the trees is absolutely stunning and we spent a lot of time here. Adamantia is so lovely and hospitable, came to meet us on arrival and even stopped our transfer driver at an agreed location enroute to the airport to say goodbye! The generous gesture of providing us with a dinner meal was very much appreciated and delicious! She was super responsive and extremely helpful.
