We had a great stay! Kiki was available and willing to help. The apartment is big, clean and beautiful, with an amazing view of the sea! It is about 30-40 minutes walk to Hydra town, taking the beautiful trail along the sea, or 3 minutes by boat. We had an amazing vacation!!

All good, but note 2.4 kilometres from centre and shops. Only negative comment is that during the weeks’ stay, the bins were only emptied once.

A great location by the restaurant Enalion as well as by a taverna. Steps from the beach. You can easily walk into the main port by a mountain road. Ideal for those who love walking or hiking. Clean and comfortable accommodations. A plus was having two bathrooms, access to a clothes washer, and a very private location. Refrigerator was also supplied with water and soft drinks.

This is a great place and Kiki is very kind and a wonderful host. The flat is super comfortable and very equipped plus it features an absolutely beautiful garden, making it perfect for different combinations of guests (solo, couple, friends, family). There are a couple of restaurants within 2 minutes walk and more if you walk 15 minutes to the nearest village (with a beautiful view on the way). Definitely recommended and looking forward to visiting this gem again! :)

Would have been nice to get fresh towels every second day as there was no washing machine in the house.

Tavernas were very close by as is the beach., great location. The unit was just divine. The staff at the Enalion taverna are friendly and accommodating. Food and service there is terrific.

The water taxi service could be better organised as a water bus but this is no criticism of the accommodation.

There was nothing that we did not like. It was perfect for us and in a beautifully scenic location.

The rooms were spacious as were the two bathrooms, one being en-suite. Plenty of cupboard and wardrobe space too. There is a large scenic yard with tables & chairs to enjoy your breakfast or relax in the evening and surrounded by trees and flora. There were plenty of towels for us both, but even then Christine was kind enough to contact us midway through our stay to see if anything was needed. Booking was easy & communication with the owners was always quick. Directions given by them to the location of the property were spot on too. When we come back to Hydra, we hope that Kiki's house will be available to us again. We cannot thank them enough for a truly great holiday. A special thank you to Vangelis at the nearby Enalion restaurant for looking after us too.

Nothing. It was all as described - simple and clean and out of the way of the town centre

The location is great if you want to stay by the beach. On the island the only way to get about is by foot, donkey or boat. So walking to town is a safe, breezy, picturesque well lit footpath all the way any time of day and eve. Lovely restaurants on route. To walk to town takes about 30 mins. You can also take the local water boat - runs every hour from 8am - 7pm - cost was €10 per person return. Or a taxi boat quoted us €25 one way. If you want to sit on a Sun lounger you will have a small cost to pay as you would anywhere. You can also chose to just sit on the beach with your towel. There is a lovely view to wake up to with the sea view. The apartment has a well equipped kitchen. And there are 2 restaurants a few mins walk away if you don’t want to head to town. We enjoyed staying away from the town centre and having the beach at our door so we could enjoy that in the day.

Mattress on the bed is not so comfortable. If you have problems with back, it can be an issue.

Perfect small two-floors apartment in quite village of Hydra, Vlyhos. Flat equipped very good, you have enough pillows, blankets and dishes. And a terrace for breakfasts and dinners. In separate laundry room we found washer machine.

As described - simple, clean and out of the way of Hydra Town centre, although no close supermarket to pick up essentials

Christine and Kiki were great hosts! The communication was quick and easy - they even allowed us late check out to accommodate work commitments which we really appreciated. The terrace of the property is a complete sun trap and only a couple of minutes walk from the beach to take a ‘cool down’ dip! The property is also located next to two restaurants - we loved Marina Taverna which was located behind the property (great food and spot for a sundowner!)
