There wasn't anything we didn't like, but maybe a couple more sunbeds and sunbrellas would be nice. It was friendly though, we huddled up in the shade! :-)

Our stay at Hotel Katerina was absolutely great, we loved every minute of it and will definitely return. The family are just so nice and the place is immaculately maintained. The photos of the rooms on the web site do not do it justice, they are much nicer! They run a little pool bar with some great breakfast, lunch and snack options, all really fresh and good.

We had a fabulous few days at Hotel Katerina. We had a complimentary pick up and drop off from the port which was fantastic. It’s a family run hotel and everyone there is so friendly and we felt very at home, the views are stunning. The rooms are lovely, great pool and very reasonably priced food and drinks. Wish we had been able to stay longer and would definitely come back. It’s well located between the town and the beach, it’s a steep walk up and down from the beach but there is a bus which runs every 30 mins or so which is only €2.

We did not have a car, so we relied on the busses that stop at the bottom of the drive and went by almost every 20 minutes. We would tell the driver we were at the Hotel Katerina and they all dropped us right off by the drive up.

It is a family run establishment and all the family members were friendly and helpful. The view from our patio of the sea was wonderful. The views from the pool area and eating area were even more impressive. It was a totally relaxing place to spend time. We loved it there.

We liked everything: The stuff, the view, the pool, the friendly vibes. Very clean, nice furniture, renovated, with lots of choices for breakfast and brunch.Very close to the beach, to the town and to Yalos (the port, by car, town on foot) ,too.

A great hotel with amazing views and facilities. The pool and bar area fantastic, with incredible views. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. The rooms and facilities are all extremely clean and well maintained. The staff are all incredibly attentive and helpful. We will definitely be back.

We stayed 6 nights and it was a wonderful experience in Ios. What a lovely family that runs the hotel! They pick you up from ferry and back from hotel. And they helped us in every situation that we need. The rooms get cleaned everyday and the pool was also perfect. It takes only 15 minutes walk to old town and there is a bus until midnight to old town or beaches. There is a beautiful view from the hotel and your balcony. If you want to enjoy the pool you can taste very delicious food and cold drinks. This is the address we stay if we come again. Thank you so much guys💜

Absolutely nothing

The hotel is located in one of the best areas of Ios, We had amazing views of Mylopotas beach and sunset . The stuff is very polite , friendly and always available to fully fill your needs . Rooms are extremely clean , comfortable and the air conditioning is working well . This is our 5 time in Ios and this is the best hotel we have stayed. Definitely we will come back and we totally recommend this amazing family business to everyone visiting Ios.

We are Happy to stay on this hotel . So Many things we do like about it. From the room set up , swimming pool , great over looking of the Beach . Its 7 to 8 mnts walk . I loved that it was in between the beach and Ios town. I didn’t love the steep walk to and from the beach but it was so close and meant the evening walk to town was so much easier!

Being picky- the bathroom was nice but the shower head was a basic shower. Maybe it could be upgraded to a rainfall one.. but that is me being really picky.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The view is amaizing and the staff friendly. We had room 5, at the top and the view from there and the pool across the bay was exceptional. The room was white and airing with a balcony. All main appliances were there- fridge, tv , safe, hairdryer . The bed was comfy and bathroom was nice but it was a basic shower. The position was 10-15 mi its walk to town and the beach, but that meant it was very quiet and relaxing, away from all the noise. The hotel wasn’t expensive and cocktails were lovely. You do need to be mobile to stay here as there a strap road and lots of steps, by the view is worthwhile. The staff are lovely and will go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this hotel and we will be back again. If you’re looking for a relaxing get away with stunning views, dont book anywhere else but here.

Since we were on the top floor and it was July, the room got very hot. The AC didn’t work as well as we would have liked, partly because it’s located in the corner outside the bathroom and not facing the bed where we sleep. Still won’t stop us from coming again, but maybe next time we will ask for a fan so we have some more cool air while we sleep.

My boyfriend and I had a lovely time at hotel Katerina. Service was great, everything was clean, beds were comfy, we had a beautiful view from our balcony. The hotel is in a perfect location. Ios is such a great island, and the hotel is located walking distance, right between the beach and the town village where all the great restaurants and bars are located. The family who owns the hotel is so sweet and accommodating and even picked us up and dropped us off at the port for free. Ios was our favorite island and unfortunately we only stayed 2 days, next time we will stay longer.

Nothing - it was amazing!

The staff were amazing and couldn’t have been more helpful. We were collected from the port and as soon as we arrived at the hotel we were shown a map of the island and helped with how to get around. It is evident that the family who run the hotel are extremely proud and do everything they can to make their guests feel at home. The pool area and bar were excellent for relaxing and we only wished we’d made more use of this during our stay! The hotel is a 10 minute walk from both Mylopotas Beach (uphill on way back) and main town with lots of bars and restaurants. Perfect location for us!
